Head Office, Leamington Spa
Business Intelligence Analyst Developer

Business Intelligence Analyst Developer (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, SQL 2012, FastStats)

Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Salary - £35-50k + benefits, negotiable depending on experience

About the Job

We are looking for a Business Intelligence specialist, to manage and continuously improve our information and analysis tools running over extensive transactional systems, all of which are developed in-house.

The work is both technical and creative in nature, requiring a solid understanding of the Microsoft stack of Analysis, ETL and Reporting tools together with an ability to work with business users to create solutions to their information needs, and deliver the tools which will be flexible and powerful enough to gain insight across all aspects of the business. There will also be the requirement to support a Marketing analyst and the marketing team in their use of the Faststats analysis tool.

With this being an omni-channel retail operation, information requirements range from retail sales analysis and customer behaviour to warehousing operations KPIs, marketing ROI and e-commerce analytics. Because we trade around the clock, you may also be required to provide ad-hoc out of hours support on occasion.

Working at Bravissimo is fun and challenging, with plenty of projects in the pipeline we want you to help us with, whilst developing your career in an organisation where your work has a direct impact on millions of people.

About you

You're expected to be a competent and self-motivated analyst and developer, able to demonstrate your skills and provide examples of BI developments you've worked on. You'll be able to understand concepts quickly, work with fresh ideas in an agile environment and contribute as appropriate. Sound knowledge of the Microsoft stack of tools including SQL Server Analysis Services is essential. Knowledge of Faststats, Pyramid Analytics or Proclarity would be desirable.

You will have a logical mind and good attention to detail, able to craft accurate results. Whilst we’re not expecting an accountant, a high degree of numeracy is important. Just as important as your technical skills will be your ability to interact & communicate at all levels of the organisation to define and deliver solutions, collaborating with end users in their language to get results.

As a key member of the IT team, you'll be keen to get involved in discussions and arguments and express your own views. Whenever you see room for improvement you won't be afraid to speak up, and you'll readily ask questions, hit Google or use the Pluralsight training subscription we provide if you're not sure about something. You will have your ear to the ground of the BI development communities, keeping abreast of the latest news and views
