Here at Bravissimo we're totally committed to respecting your privacy. Like any other retailer, we collect personal information about you when you shop on our websites, and we want to be clear about how and why we do this, and the steps we take to protect it.

The following policy relates to Bravissimo Ltd, encompassing the "Bravissimo" and "Pepperberry" brands and their respective websites, and We are registered with the ICO as a data controller under the Data Protection Act (registration number Z5997078).

Please read this page carefully as your use of our websites indicates your consent for us to use your details in the ways described below.

We may occasionally need to amend this policy from time to time, so you may like to check this page periodically to ensure you are up to date.

Information we collect about you

The information we collect is used for fulfilling orders, processing payments, customising your website experience and communicating with you about products, services and other news from Bravissimo Ltd that we think may interest you.

Whilst we will always contact you about important matters relating to your order or account, we will not send you any marketing information if you have asked us not to (you can opt-out within My Account).

If you decide to unsubscribe from receiving any Pepperberry marketing emails it can take between 48 hours to 7 working days to be removed from the Pepperberry email list. The unsubscribe link within Pepperberry emails does not opt you out of receiving Bravissimo emails.

We collect the following personal details about you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Contact number (in case we need to talk to you about your order or account)
  • Billing address
  • Delivery address
  • Limited credit card details (see the Security section below)
  • Optional demographics such as your age range, height range and size - but only with your explicit consent (e.g. when supplied as part of a product review). You do not have to supply this information in order to shop with us.

We may also collect additional information during your visit:

  • Details about your computer (e.g. your IP address, browser and screen size)
  • Navigation and browsing activity (e.g. how often you access our website, which products you view, items in your bag, the point you left our website)
  • Information from cookies or tracking beacons (e.g. to help us understand how you came to visit our site and whether you made a purchase)

Third parties

We will never sell or transfer your details to third parties for marketing purposes. However, there are occasions where we may need to share some of your information with carefully selected third parties acting as our agents. Reasons for this include the following:

  • To meet essential operational needs whilst fulfilling your order (such as payment processing, fraud detention, data validation)
  • To monitor performance and security
  • To conduct research and analysis
  • To facilitate delivery of a prize should you enter a competition (but only with your explicit consent)
  • Where necessary to comply with regulations or law enforcement, or to protect our property and other rights.

In the unlikely event that some or all of Bravissimo Ltd's assets are sold or transferred to a third party, your personal information may be included. However this privacy policy would remain in force as part of any such transfer.

In all cases, we will endeavour to share the minimum amount of information necessary to fulfil the task at hand.

We also use Google’s Universal Analytics features including User ID which involves sharing non-personally identifiable data about you with them in order to understand how you use our website across multiple sessions and devices. Some features are based on Display Advertising, including Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. This provides us with anonymous aggregated data that we use to shape our services around our users' interests. Google provides an Ads Settings feature to allow you to opt out of this, and a browser add-on to allow you to opt out of all google analytics data collection.

Offline activity

Please note that Bravissimo is an "omni-channel" retailer - this means that all of our channels (web, in-store and telephone) are built on the same system. This enables our staff in stores and in Customer Services to see all the information you have entered online and also allows you to see all the orders and information they have entered on your behalf.

Access to your personal information

Most of the personal information we hold about you is visible within the My Account section of our website where you are able to make changes at any time. If there is any information that you are unable to change, or you wish to know more about the data that we hold about you, you can contact our Customer Services team and discuss this with us.

Live Help Service

What is Live Help Service?

The Bravissimo Live Help Service enables you to chat in real time with one of our customer service consultants. They can help you with anything from directions to one of our stores right through to style and fitting advice or helping you place your order online.

What information do you collect about me when I use Live Help Service?

When you use the Live Help service we connect you with one of our Customer Service advisors and you can talk to them using either text chat or via a live voice and/or video call. If you use text chat we do keep a transcript of the conversation. If you choose to talk to us using a voice or video call we do not record any of the conversation so therefore no voice or video data is captured and/or stored.

You have the option to terminate the text chat, voice or video call at any time during the conversation by pressing the appropriate button.

At the end of the chat or video call we do ask you to fill out a short survey so that we can find out how you felt about using the service. If you’d rather not leave any feedback you can just exit out of the survey.

Any personal data we collect from you must be given by you voluntarily e.g. through the completion of a “Callback Request” or “Contact Us” Form. Any personal or business data (email addresses, names, phone numbers etc.) you do voluntarily provide is not passed to any third parties or used for any other purpose(s) than that/those requested by you.

We log browser information (e.g. Internet Protocol addresses and browser types) to help diagnose problems with our server, gather broad demographic information and administer our site. By accepting or initiating a text chat or live video call you consent to the logging and processing of IP addresses.


All transactions are totally secure because all the details that you send to us are encrypted and sent across a secure connection. The secure pages include My Account pages, all the check out pages and the final confirmation page.

The encryption technique we use is standard for e-commerce and is certified by GlobalSign, one of the largest well respected certification authorities. GlobalSign Certificates are trusted by all popular browsers, operating systems and mobile devices. Bravissimo Ltd also has an Extended Certificate which means that the certificate also confirms who the site is run by as well as the security. Therefore any information you send us cannot be read by anyone other than the Bravissimo Ltd team.

Depending on which browser you are using, you may see different security features such as a padlock symbol or the address bar turning green. However, regardless of whether you're using Internet Explorer, Firefox or any other browser, you can be confident that our site is safe and secure.

Credit card processing

We use a process known as "tokenisation" when we take payments. In short, this means that the credit card details you enter are securely transmitted straight to our payment provider and we never see or store them in full. Instead, we receive a "token" consisting of your card number with half the digits randomised, along with less critical data such as the card type and expiry date. We are then able to use this token to charge and refund your card via our payment processor, whilst still being able to show you meaningful information to identify which card you used.

In the unfortunate event of our systems being breached, not only would the attacker fail to retrieve any meaningful credit card data, all tokens would be immediately revoked and become unusable, meaning your card cannot be misused.
