Quite simply a fab all rounder. The black patent belt is elasticated at the back and fastens with three studs.

Dress is not perfect, but not that bad either. Good points - nice length, nice cut and not a see-through material. Bad points - slightly thin, easily streching (therefore getting out of shape) jersey, very short belt (I have really small waist but I feel the belt on me all the time) and weird belt loops that seem to be stiched too high - but the latter is nothing a pair of sharp scissors can't solve! :) Get a size smaller if you can - it looks massive on. I'm usually 14RC (34E), took 12RC and it still seems too big on the boobs, even wearing a thick long-sleeved top underneath!

Not a keeper I'm afraid. I did read the other reviews before ordering but took the risk anyway, tempted by the sale price and the fact that the model looks amazing in the dress. I didn't look amazing I'm afraid. I'm 5'8", an hourglass 18SC with a fairly neat waist. The belt was slightly too small, marked a 16/18 and not at all flattering, causing lumps and bumps, though I'm not particularly lumpy around the waist. The waistline seemed too high for the style of dress, meaning the belt loops started just beneath my bust, emphasising already generous boobs in a rather unfortunate way. The fabric is too thin for the style and when cinched in ruched up where it shouldn't and stuck out oddly at the small of my back and just below the belt loops. The photo made this look like a structured piece in a heavier jersey and if it had been that, with a belt that fitted then it would have been a killer; smart, demure and sexy all in one package but I'm afraid it doesn't deliver. This is the worst dress I've ever ordered from here. As soon as I got it out the box the poor quality of material was noticeable - it's so thin - I've seen better in Primark! The cut was awful too - it just looked badly cut/put together as a whole. It looked so cheap when it was on too. I might as well have nipped to tesco and brought a long tshirt/dress and put a belt round it - it would have looked the same. In fact I've got one from New Look for £14 (not in the sale either) that I've done this with and it looks loads better in fit and quality! It was really unflattering too around the stomach too so you would only get away with it if you have no stomach at all. very dissapointing - especially as it was around with the fab chevon dress.

I read the other reviews before buying this dress and thought I'd take a chance. For me the dress fit really well over the bust, waist and hips, and the scoop is not too low. Unfortunately the belt is tiny - even though I had the 12/14 belt - I could do it up, but it was so tight I couldn't breathe and made my hips look like a shelf!! I will be buying a new belt to go with this dress, so glad I got it in the sale, I wouldn't have been happy if I paid full price. The material is a thin jersey, which I didn't mind too much as it does drape/fall nicely. The only other problem with this dress is the belt loops, which weirdly looked as if they were too short and pulled the hip area of the dress up so I didn't have a smooth silhouette. I just simply cut these off, and problem solved. Other that the belt/loop issue I do like this dress, but wouldn't recommend unless someone is happy to buy a new belt and sort out the loops.
