Alexa is one of our best-selling bras due to its style, support, and comfort – who says Bravissimo girls can’t have it all? The cleverly-constructed cups are lightly padded to give a great rounded and smooth shape and the delicate on-trend lace panelled back looks super cute peeking out under tops. Many of you have told us how comfortable you feel when you wear it…the fabric is oh-so-soft to touch!

Supportive and beautiful

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

This bra is supportive and pretty, and I love being able to wear something like this as a big boobed woman. It gives a great plunge cleavage, so it is good under low-cut clothes. The way the back is constructed also minimises the fat bulge that can happen on the back with other bras. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the extremely fiddly clasp. I will be buying the style with the magnetic clasp ASAP.

Alexa Bra

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

Very beautiful but there is one problem- how do you manage to fasten it? Had to fasten it then put over my head to get it on the clasp is very fiddly, thought it would be better if it was like a bikini clasp. Other than that very comfortable and pretty, need more like this so us bigger ladies can where t-shirts without flashing our straps.

My go to bra!

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

I have this bra in every colour, it’s my go to bra every day! The fit, the shape and the lift it gives me is awesome (after 2 kids). I always do the small clip at top up first then put it over my head and yes there is 4 hook and eye to do up but you get used it and the I felt it gives me more support and I felt more secure in it, to me the cups come up slightly larger so try it on to get best fit! They need to do this bra in nude as the pink is slightly too dark under white! For me it’s the best bra I’ve ever had, I feel good in it, thanks Bravissimo!

Good for contortionism!

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

Alexa is the perfect soft, high-quality fabric, molded bra... for a contortionist—because I’m not sure how people are meant to put on this contraption. The snap for the racerback has a tiny closure, way worse than any bikini top I’ve ever worn. I eventually had to snap that first, lift the half-done bra over my head, and then painstakingly do four hook and eyes. I bought it because from the shape of the lines it resembled Niya, which I love. It has a much lovelier more supple fabric than Niya but the fit just isn’t there. Great underwire support, nice longline feel, high quality lace, but it just doesn’t feel like a bra I could wear all day long. Extreme plunge and massive cleavage though, for those of y’all who are into that! Size up a cup; band will be snug, but fit.

Poor weight distribution from panel strap

Review published on:

Customer rating:1 out of 5 stars

This bra looks fantastic, has straps that pull in just a bit to hide under halter or sleeveless cuts, gives good cleavage with a low cut for plunge necklines, the fabric is soft, and it has an adorable matching thong with a good cut. That said, it's the least-comfortable bra I own because of the lace panel strap. The top of the straps are pulled together enough to redistribute some pressure from the chest band at my rib cage to my shoulders--and that causes muscle fatigue and shoulder / neck pain pretty quickly. I start noticing fatigue within 15 mins and by the end of the day there's serious pain. I've caught myself hunching over to redistribute weight lower down my shoulders away from my neck muscles, which isn't a great look or posture. In addition, the bit that sticks out between your underarm and the bra strap has never been a problem for me before, but is now because the straps pull toward the neck at a steeper angle. I bought another bra in this style, the Atlanta, at the same time, and do not have the same issues with it. I think the difference is that the panel strap on the Atlanta is stretchier / has significantly more give, so it doesn't redistribute pressure from the ribs to the shoulders. (Worth noting, the Atlanta also had a slightly better cut on the thong, or possibly it was the fabric, but Alexa feels like they focused on soft / not-binding fabric enough that the same size is nearly falling off.) I wish they'd made the panel feature on the Alexa more for show and less for supporting weight, because it supports that weight in a less healthy place, and I prefer Alexa's aesthetic dramatically over Atlanta's. Would not buy again because of the back panel. You may not have the same problem if you can wear racerbacks and halter tops regularly; I may just be too used to weight resting on the bones of the shoulder rather than the muscles of the neck and upper spine.

True fit, so comfy, really good support and not too expensive! Everything you could want in a bra. Highly recommend.

My favorite bra!

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

It fits so perfectly and is very comfortable. The straps lay in a different location across the shoulders from other bras, which is a nice break. Despite the plunge style, my boobs stay securely in place (not like another similarly-styled bra, not from Bravissimo). I also love the side silhouette of my chest in this bra, it is able to hold my boobs up where they belong! The back of the neck closure was a bit complicated, but I usually keep that closed and slip it over my head to make it easier.

OK bra, poorly scaled for small band sizes

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I'll start my review by stating that I had to compromise on size with this bra. I purchased a 28J, but have to wear it on the tightest hooks so ideally I would have needed a 26JJ. The cup does come up a little on the bigger size for a Bravissimo bra, which is good for me as I normally spill out of a 28J. The material of this bra is lovely and soft and the idea behind the design is lovely. Fit wise I encountered a few problems. The underwires are absurdly wide, I find that they finish closer to my back than my front, and the underwire arcs awkwardly away from under my breasts. Bravissimo, you really need to actually look at some women with small band sizes with a large cup size, this is a common issue with your bras because you fail to account for the fact that people with narrow backs are often narrow in front as well. The cups are incredibly shallow at the bottom, which does make me look incredibly booby, but also makes the bra slide down as my breast simply can't fit into the bottom of the cup. Finally, less of a fit issue and more of a scaling issue. The lace panels on the 28 band are much narrower than shown in the product pictures. You may think, "it's a 28 band, that makes sense" but proportionately there is less lace, instead of starting at near the hooks in the middle it starts further away, and the lace doesn't extend as far around, so instead of the look being thin at the top but wider at the bottom the lace just goes straight down which doesn't look anywhere near as lovely. Bravissimo, please work with some women in my size range when you're developing bras to help you figure out what actually works. I volunteer as tribute.
