It is extremely well made with gorgeous detail, but order your size with extra curviness. Flares a little, but lately I notice that Bravissimo has too many A line dress or dresses cut for fat hips. I plan to wear it under suits.
I bought the white and black options. The zip did up but wow, it was so tight across the boobs; ‘straight jacket’ tight. For my top heavy shape, Bravissimo clothes are usually loose at the hips, however this was the best fit in the design. So, in general the style came up way too small. Now to the straps, a huge disappointment being made of a cheap lighter weight tape/gross grain fabric and were too long so slipped down my shoulders. Apart from the straps, the top was lined and made beautifully. Sadly, they’re both on their way back.
Oh my how I love this top. Very flattering, wide straps to hide your bra and just a little bit longer than the usual Bravissimo tops, which I like. Very stylish and looks expensive. True to size. More colours please!
This top can be used during the warm summer days, as well as for an evening out, depending on what you style it with. The fit is great, and the top even washes well, without coming out of the washer completely creased.
This top looked very pretty on the website, and cotton is quite unusual in the Bravissimo range, so I was keen to try it on. However, despite fitting well round the bust, it had little shape to it (unlike the photos) and looked straight and very unflattering on me. It may have been better if it was longer, but it just looked square and boxy. Also, the straps are made of stretchy tape and really detract from how it looks. Good idea, but sadly it just doesn't work for me.
This is a very pretty top, its just a shame the straps are made from rather cheap ribbon which detracts from the overall quality and design. However it didn't stop me buying 2, in the white and the blue. Size-wise I am inbetween 14 really curvy and 16 curvy, so I tried on both: The 14 R/C was a very flattering close fit but I went for the slightly looser, but still flattering, 16 curvy as I am going to wear it on holiday in the heat. I am 5'8" and it is an ideal length to wear with skirts (or trousers).
