This new non-wired sports bra holds your boobs really close to your chest to minimise jiggle. It has a padded hook and eye and straps for extra comfort. We’d love to hear what you think of this new style if you give it a try.
This is a fantastic sports bra! I wish I knew about it sooner. I previously purchased the Freya Sonic sports bra from Amazon which has underwires. The fit was great, however, after wearing it for anytime over an hour or two the underwire would dig into the sides of my breasts. Anyway, after seeing the other reviews on this bra, I decided to return the Sonic and purchase this bra instead (since it does not have underwire - what a relief!). I love this bra! It's super soft and silky against your skin. I don't even feel like I'm wearing a bra with it on besides for the fact that it really holsters the girls in place, which is what you want in a sports bra (no bounce on the treadmill at the gym, if you know what I mean). The only thing I would caution other buyers of is the sizing. The band is just a little loser than other bras, and the cup size ran small. I usually wear a 32FF in regular bras. I kept the 32 band since I had also purchased a 30 but that was just a wee bit snug. The 32 isn't all that lose, just a smidge. I did go up in the cup size though to a G cup. With the FF, I felt like I had some side spillage going on and I don't like that. The shoulder straps are so comfortable and provide great lift. So the little bit of looseness in the band size is not a concern for me since the straps and having the right size cup seem to be doing great with supporting me.
Definitely get advice before ordering comes up big both in the cup and back.
Have really liked this bra. It's supportive, comfortable (I forget I’m wearing it- what voodoo magic is this!) and one of the better shape under clothes for a non-wired bra. Bought this as my Shock Absorber sports bras were no longer comfortable, but wanted something I could ‘play’ outside in, (including spontaneous exercise). Have tried it on a day trip to a local island (hiking, beach walks, cafes) and exceeded expectations. Probably better support than my underwired sports bras, and looks less ‘grandma-ish’. I sized down a back size, and up a cup size. Haven’t washed it yet, and I’m concerned the durability of the underside band may be it’s Achilles’ heel- we’ll see. Like it enough to plan to use it as my bra on a upcoming four day hike through Tasmanian wilderness.
I always buy Shock Absorber bras, as nothing else is as supportive when running. As there was money off I decided to give this new bra a try. Thank goodness I did. It will be my go to running bra from now on. Easy to put on, able to convert to racer back without contortions and utterly supportive and comfortable. Gives me a great shape too. Where has this been all my life?!
It turned out I've gone down a back size. Happy days. I tried this on in store and loved the look and feel of it. I have a spinal disorder which means back support for my GGs is crucial. The material is breathable and smooth to touch. Holds the girls up nicely. Only thing I would say is be careful with the shoulder straps as they can start to dig in. But it is bounce proof! My all time favourite and very much necessary still is the Bravissimo's own Orbit sports bra because of the double straps on the back, but this is a great second choice.
I am a 30 band and I was hoping to find something up to J and thanks to Freya I found this! it's true to size and the band very comfortable, I'd love it more colors please!
It feels like this blue sports bra has been created just for me. In the past I have used other branded sports bras fitted for me, however over time they caused terrible chafing within a few weeks of use. This fits like a dream (true to size) and is easy to put on with a reassuring wide fastening band. I have been out running a couple of times so far this week in this bra and have experienced no jiggle. Washes brilliantly.
...no, not me, the bra! :) When I unpacked it, it looked so light and thin I thought this will be too delicate as sports bra. Trying it on, it was also extremely comfortable with wide shoulder straps, you could hardly tell you were wearing it. However, once the racer back clips were clipped together it made a very secure bra, suitable for high impact. Without the clip it is ideal for low impact e.g. yoga, or even just wearing everyday. There were no unsightly ridges showing through, gave a good shape and it looks pretty on its own. This is now my favourite sports bra, but I did had to fasten it on the tightest hooks, so next time I may go down a chest size and up a cup size. I normally wear a 32J but usually find sports bras a bit small in the back. I think a 30J would be perfect next time.
