Super comfortable, but lace rode up

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

I really put this bra through a lot! Anything a new mom can go through, it’s been through with me and after TWO years of wear, it was still doing it’s job, so it’s definitely durable. I found the cups to fit fine although they do give less coverage and support than a regular bra, but they are also extra comfy. My biggest annoyance was the lace riding up which could be awkward when wearing a low cut shirt.

Not enough coverage

Hi ladies. So this nursing bra initially fitted really well, albeit the cup felt shallower than other nursing bras. The cup is somewhere between 1.5cm -2cm lower than the edges of the wire. The lace lining does rise up with wear, which then creates a double boob effect which is not forgiving with any fluctuations due to milk. Furthermore, if you have larger breasts, which are heavy like mine. There are alternative nursing bras that provide more coverage and provide more support.

Good support but bad design

Nice looking bra and good support whilst still comfy but as others say the lace piece is pointless and uncomfortable - it doesn’t stay in position and seems too small as ends up riding upwards

Fit and design both seem strange

Review published on:

I was not able to be fitted in this bra ahead of time and had to base my sizing on a best guess. However, my guess was fine in Hotmilk. The cups on this are much larger than the Hotmilk cups in the same size (32H), and so they gape away from the lace underneath, which looks odd. Band size is fine. The design of the lace underneath is also strange. On my other nursing bras, the bit that stays up when you fold down the cup provides some support. On this one I can't figure out why the lace is there and not simply on the edge of the cup. Since the cups are moulded, as others have pointed out, they're not as easy to fold down. But not more difficult than you'd expect with moulded cups. The fit isn't so bad that it's worth paying return shipping, I'll wear it on laundry day and if I'm just around the house. But I would encourage a fitting because of the gaping lace issue.

Almost but not quite

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

When I first put this on it looked great. I like the racerback clips - especially good for someone like me with very small shoulders. However, it is less well-designed as a nursing bra than the other styles I've tried: the cup is a bit stiff and doesn't fold down easily, and when closed the cup can also end up gaping away from the lace edging.

Best of a bad lot

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

Nursing bras are not very exciting. This one is the best of a bad lot. It isn't perfect but has given me decent support, shape and crucially separates my even more gigantic than usual boobs. Its main downfall: the lace bit at the top separates from the rest (what is the point of it at all?!). Also the color...

Cup size a bit small

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

Initially I thought this was great as it seemed to give a good shape, not the saggy, pointed, boobs facing in different directions I’ve had with my other nursing bras. But after a bit of wiggling, my boobs escaped and the lace bit that goes across the top separated and cut over the top giving the lovely double boob effect. This was the largest size it comes in I think so it had to go back. It’s a shame it doesn’t come in a larger cup size.

Great fit... but hurts

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I thought I had found the perfect bra the fit was absolutely perfect, however the wires sit so they are really painful. I have another bra now with a different underwire and it is great, so it is not the underwires, just how these ones work. It made me quite sad.
