Good looking bra, nice fabric with a young sporty look. Thought it might do for me as my boobage is all at the bottom, but whilst one boob just about fitted inside the cup, the other wouldn't and the slightest jiggle had them both spilling out. How anyone with high or full boobs would manage I can't imagine. Would love to be able to wear a plunge but no luck with this one.
So it didnt fit, the band was very snug and even with my on going diet it wouldnt have fit anytime soon. The cups also seemed much smaller than expected. I'm going to exchange for a bigger back and cup and hopefully it will fit. The bra itself is really nice, the material hasnt got much stretch but it looked great even though it didn't fit properly. Fingers crossed for a better fit.
So to begin, I am quite fussy when it comes to bras. It not only has to fit my boobs and be comfortable but also: not make them look larger than they are, push them together or apart too far, cup must be neither too full nor barely there so your boobs fall out when leaning over and ideally have nice slimline straps that would look good under my tank top. Finally it has to be under £35. You could probably see that with such a long criteria list my bra shopping tend to be quite difficult at times. Luckily I can always find something good at Bravissimo. Taking few similar styles into the fitting room I wasn't expecting there to be much difference between them. However the Elise bra was literally love at first try. Soft cup with a nicely tight (but not digging) fit in the back. Comfortable straps and my boobs looked just too cute! Nice plunge look but still just slightly apart and not falling out of the cups - tested by jumping and wiggling about a bit. Also, I often find with some balcony styles or other plunge ones that the middle joint digs in too much and after a whole day wear will leave me with 2 sore red lines - not this one! Needless to say I bought it in black and grey and are now about to order the navy one. I'm sure I'll get the nude one as well at some point as it will go nicely under white and lighter colour tops. Shame the briefs are so pricey, I shall wait for the sale to get them.
I bought this bra to try something different to the satine bra. Although it fits well at the start of the day, its not very supportive, and by the end of the day, I am falling out of it. Shame, as the design is pretty.
Can’t believe how good this bra is. Soft but supportive cups. Had to go up a cup size. Assistant in the newish Bath store was excellent with her fitting and advice. Always been a balcony girl but I’m converted now
So, I've always been used to the traditional balconette bras BUT now I've tried this plunge. I'm never going back. It's so comfortable! Honestly worth the money. I have such a hard time finding the right bra either they make my boobs look pointy or they don't provide enough support. But this bra is literally wonder bra. I'm going to buy it again in another colour. I dread the day it says out of stock haha!
I was excited to try this model out (there is always hope that I will find bra that will finally fit...), but again, this did not deliver. I am a 26J, but because that doesn't exist, I typically get 28HH's. I have a petite build, breasts take over my entire chest and "sit high" compared to how they sit on taller women. I gave this bra 4 stars because I saw the quality is there and I can see that it would work really well if you are a "bravissimo girl". It is a gorgeous bra and on top of that, it is almost light enough to be "nude" on my fair skin. Couldn't make it out under my sheerest top. The shape and construction also looks very nice. HOWEVER, if you are petite framed, it will not work. My breasts, being so close together, spilled out the middle. The stretchy top would be a benefit for many different breast shapes, but in my case it was a big negative. I tried all kinds of things to try and get this bra to sit right on me. In the end I had to tighten the straps all the way and they were still too long! But shortening them even further through alterations would be pointless: the cups are too long and too wide. Because of the way my boobs sat on my chest, and because the cups are long and wide on me, I had the unique look of a quad boob AND not wearing a bra at all. Truly bizarre. Definitely convinced now, after years of trying on every bra out there, that a reduction surgery is my only option if I want to fit into anything! It's utterly hopeless! Conclusion: avoid if body has petite proportions, but definitely try if you are average or taller.
Went into store in Nottingham and I used to be a 32F but felt the band was too big. Natalie helped me and was great ended up with a 30G and it's amazing. Very comfy.
