I was fitted yesterday in the lovely Cambridge store and came away with two Elodie bras one white one nude. I have been wearing a 34g for a long while, but have been having a lot of trouble finding something really comfortable. Going up to a 36g seemed to do the trick. I haven't owned such a comfortable bra in years, and as a bonus all my clothes fit me better. Thank you so much and please let's have Elodie in lots more colours soon !
This has been my favourite style for about six years and I have had it in several sizes as !y body changed having two children! I even wore it when breastfeeding in a 32JJ. At the moment I find it chafes a bit under the arms and am trying other (cheaper!) styles but I have no doubt I will go back to it in the future.
On receiving my new Bravissimo catalogue this caught my eye as I was up for trying the side sling shape. I am normally a Fantasie plain smooth moulded girl so trying anything different is a big deal and any new bra has a lot to live up to. I ordered my normal size and have found the fit as expected. I like the shape it gives. I always find I have to wear a new bra in- especially if it has lace etc on so am still at the wearing in stage but not having any problems with anything that won't 'soften' over time. A bit on the pricey side but a good fitting bra is a must for us larger ladies and this one certainly ticks the right boxes.
The cup sizes are a little big so I had to go a size down. But once I'd found the right size, it's really comfortable and this is one of my favourite bras now! A little more expensive than I tend to like to spend but since my husband paid, it didn't really matter!
I bought this online as there is no Bravissimo store where I live, which means I can't be bothered to return an item once I buy it. I wear a 30E, was measured in the store in the past and I have not lost or gain weight. The size for this bra is much smaller than other models. The underwire and straps' lace are way too tight and rough. I am not sure if they sent me a faulty product, but the seam was not perfect, there were many lose pieces which I cut myself with scissors. Furthermore at the back of the bra there is something itchy, I can't figure out what it is. I would NOT recommend this item.
I first bought two of these bras online, one black & one nude. The cups were too small so I took them to the shop & was fitted with 36G instead of my usual 36FF. The nude one is pretty but the black one is a beautiful thing - shame it has to be covered up! The fit & comfort are very good, even though the black one doesn't sit as flat to my ribcage as I usually like. Although they are comfortable & I thought I would like the side sling, upfront effect, my boobs being quite far out to the sides, in fact I find I'm not really keen on the pointy shape & the very pushed out to the front look they give me. I would recommend it to anyone who likes that look though.
This is the most comfortable and supportive bra I have ever worn. I absolutely love the uplifted and pulled in shape it provides. I could rave about this bra all day, it's so perfect! It's comfortable for the whole day. I have a fairly active job and really notice when my bras are digging in but nothing cuts in or rubs at all with this bra. The back elastic does feel a bit weak and stretchy compared to other bras I've had, at first I did wonder if I needed to go down a back size but after wearing this I still wear it on the outer hooks and it doesn't budge. I would say this probably adds to the comfort. It does run large in the cups though. I usually wear a 34H but decided to try a 34GG and it's a much better fit. This bra for me is perfect, pretty enough for a hot date (especially the black/cream colour) but comfortable enough for everyday. The briefs are a bit big, size Large fit me nicely and I'm a size 16-18. I now have 3 of these and will be buying plenty more.
I've tried lots of brands but never Fantasie as they were always too expensive. Anyway I got the opportunity to try some Fantasie bras on and they do fit really well- the back band is firm (I tend to waver between 34HH and 32J although in Curvy Kate unpadded bras I'm a 32JJ) and the underwire does tend to dig in if you slouch (nothing like a firm bra to work on your posture!) But generally this is a lovely bra which gives very good if not a bit too much separation between the breasts and has good quality embroidery and side support. I adore the black/teal colour combo and have just ordered it too :)
