The combination of a V-neckline and ruching makes this wrap top so flattering for Bravissimo girls. The Emily top lets you show a bit of your cleavage without showing your bra. You really need to try this top on to understand what the fuss is about!

I've seen this top come and go in different colours and didn't get it, because I suspected that it would sit awkwardly over my bust. I finally decided to get one, because surely this style wouldn't keep coming back if it was rubbish? But oh it was rubbish for me. The top just would not cover my bra and just sat absurdly open. I find it really silly how many tops and dresses that Bravissimo does that basically require a plunge bra, given the number of big boobed women that can't have plunge or just generally feel more comfortable in a balconette. Returned, as I don't really want a top that needs sewing together to hide my bra.
I have this top in purple, raspberry and turquoise. The tops look great with jeans and washes really well. I will be buying more colours next year. Well done Bravissimo for a really great top! Please keep selling this top.
Love the Emily top and have it in multiple colours. Really love this colour, although I don't think it's a 'true' green - I'd say it's closer to a petroleum blue than a green. Still, it's a gorgeous colour and the top itself is always a winner! I do think that it's a tricky top to wear with certain bras - it can be a bit disappointing over my unpadded Cleos, for example. However, over a Deco or similar shape, you can't go wrong! I'll be waiting for other colours!
I really like this top. The length is perfect, quite long but I like that. I love the 3/4 length sleeves and the dark blue fabric with silver dots is really pretty. Could wear it without a vest too, so not too low cut.
The fabric was much better in this one than the green one [see other review]. I needed to buy the larger boob size but I would like slightly higher coverage for the office. Short sleeves and solid bright colors in this fabric please!
I love the Emily top I bought years ago. It's short sleeve, black, and viscose. It was a thick enough fabric for shaping and it was cut well. It is still my go to under a grey suit. Unfortunately, I need a different size now. I have always wanted more particularly in a color like the teal they have labelled green here. Unfortunately, there has been something wrong with each subsequent one. I want short sleeves, not long sleeves, I want the same material not that god awful polyester the short sleeve was replaced with, I love the blue short sleeve one with the brocade sleeves but I can't raise my arms in it because of the firm sleeve material. This one the color is gorgeous. I tried it on, excited. The green material is see through! I could see my cleavage and bra through the shirt. I'm not talking a shadow, I'm talking sheer, could see the colors underneath level of sheer. The blue with the metallic dots was not see through so I guess I'll get that one. I just really need colors that look good with black. The search continues in vein.
I absolute adore this shape - it fits great on me. I’ve got it in berry, navy and 2x in black. I tried it in the light blue, but like others said the material is different and much thinner, so I sent it back. Bravissimo, please keep the shape in the catalogue and just offer different colours (I’d love a dark green) or add some small designs? I also love the short sleeve version (can we have ivory and berry next summer?) and a midi dress would be great! I’m just ordering the navy/silver colour.
So, I already have 2 Emily tops in 10 curvy. To get this green/teal colour to fit, I purchased my usual size, but I would say look at the back photo of this top, to give you an idea of what "lumps and bumps" will be showing from the back. A 10 curvy looks stunning from the front, fits well, but from the back, it really does show all those rolls! I tried the 12 curvy, which was the other way, looked better from the back, less fat rolls! But way too big on the front! Needless to say, I kept the 10 curvy because I love the colour and I won't be looking at my back!
