FreyaFancies Plunge Bra

Description

This style gives a rounded shape and great support thanks to a double layer of lace in the bottom cups and the top cups are stretch lace for a great fit. We’d love to hear if it takes your ‘fancy’!

The GG+ cup sizes are a balconette shape without the keyhole detail, and with lined top cups rather than stretch lace.

One clasp - not enough

Pretty bra. Im a huge fan of Freya however this bra is a disappointment. The one clasp at the back just doesn't suit big sizes (36ff). It feels uncomfortable and I wore it once. Theres nothing quite like an uncomfortable bra and this bra is now sitting in my draw gathering dust. Shame.

Comfy and practical!

After discovering my new Freya size of 28F (normally I'm a 30E/F), I've tried several of their bras & was delighted to see the lower, narrower back in this style. The fit I think is similar to Freya balcony plunge bras; the stretch lace isn't as adaptable/flexi as the one used in Panache bras though (Clara, Andorra or Jasmine). I bought it in store and wore it the same evening for several hours, and though it was a hot day, it was super comfortable, no chaffing etc. Best thing is the lower back works, as I hoped, in a keyhole back dress I own! The regular price is also fairly purse-friendly.

Love!

Sexy, cute AND good support. I wasn't sure how the back would fit because of the triangle part but it fits great! No spillage out of the top, no side boob. Love it.

Liberation!

I feel liberated. The delight of a one hook bra cannot be underestimated. This bra is, as with all Freya bras, extremely comfortable with wires which do not dig in (a problem for me with all other makes!). It fits well, I wear it all day with complete comfort and it looks gorgeous. I have bought this style before and I love it.

Not for me

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

I bought this bra as I have lost a lot of weight and I needed a smaller cup size. The bra looks lovely and fits really nice, very comfortable to wear unfortunately for me the elastic at the front made my boobs look a funny shape such a shame as I did like it overall.

Freya at their very best

A recent brush with hrt has left me half a stone heavier, and consequently spilling out of all my bras and in need of replacements. I have struggled with Freya in recent years (shoulder straps too short since Wacoal takeover), but this is a return to the Freya styling I used to love so much. I am usually a balconette wearer, and this is closer to a balconette than a plunge - in fact I have no 'plunge' effect at all. The back and cup size are true, and the stretch lace on the top of the cup should allow for some size fluctuation. The shoulder straps are plenty long enough (thank you Freya!!), and the single row hooks a real treat. This bra looks delicate and attractive, but the support is really good. This may well be my new favourite 'go to' bra. I really recommend this one.
