PanacheJasmine Bra

Jasmine is a go-to style for many Bravissimo girls. It has firm fabric in the bottom cups so it’s really supportive and the top cups are made from soft stretch lace which accommodates lots of different shapes and sizes so it’s great for those of us with one boob bigger than the other (which is most of us!), or those of us who fluctuate during the month.

The Jasmine bra is pretty great, but maybe not what I was looking for. It separates and fits the top of each breast incredibly well, so if you're looking to avoid cleavage or you have an issue 'falling out' of your cups when bending over, this bra will solve that for you. It seems to hold you so you're very forward-thrust, like a bullet-bra, and your shape is left naturally conical and pointing straight out rather than rounded like a padded bra - it's up to personal preference if you like that or not. At my size it looks a little cartoony. The wires come up pretty high on the sides and on my sternum and kind of feels like they're pressing in, though not sharply. The straps similarly come up along the side of the bra rather than closer to the middle, so I can feel the straps against the front of my armpits, but especially when reaching forward for anything. This bra could really work for some people, but I may be returning it.

Beware stretch lace

Having lost weight and struggling to find a new style that suits me I decided to go to a store for a fitting. The Jasmine bra looks nice, felt really comfortable and gave a nice rounded shape especially when advised about 'scoop and swoop'. Unfortunately this technique which worked well in store does not last - nipples that had been effectively placed facing east and west do not stay put, migrating back to face forward. This results in an overflow for which the stretch lace, designed to allow for boob size fluctuation, gives no support. I would advise considering a larger cup size.

Just lovely

Tried this bra as it was so pretty! I wouldn’t normally go for what looks like a flimsy bra but from the second I put it on I was impressed! Super comfortable, held everything in a great place and really felt surprisingly supportive!!

Not comfortable

This Jasmine bra gave an up front shape with the side slings holding me in to give a slightly narrower silhouette when looking face on, which is good. I'm used to buying moulded bras and this Jasmine bra felt uncomfortable. The covering for the wire didn't feel very thick so felt like it was sharp. I'm back to the moulded bras because they are so comfortable and the wires are more protected so softer against the skin but not as pretty as the Jasmine bra. The issues I had did not relate to the size being wrong, it fitted perfectly.

Bought old styles

I have purchased this bra in various styles and it always fits perfectly. I've had the oxblood (I believe it was called) and recently purchased the mosaic style. The cups were true to size and the straps didn't slip off my petite shoulders. I believe I'll return for more.

Super wide wires

I didn't purchase this bra, but I tried it on in a store in a 28FF (my snug underbust measurement is about 26.5"). I tried it on in black, so the other colors may be a tiny bit looser. The band was super tight on the loosest hook - so be warned, 28 bands, the band runs small - but the cups fit fine. However, the wires were SO wide! The cups enclosed me just fine on the sides, but the underwires ended up literally halfway between my underarms and my back. Maybe better for those with a wider shape?

Favourite bra for my shape, please restock

I have found this bra is one of the only styles in the store to fit me, I LOVE the stretch lace bras and have bought many in the past. When I went shopping for my next Jasmine Bra I was massively disappointed to find out there was no other bras apart from the newest design in store, and once looking online there was very little stock there too. I hope this isn't a sign they will be discontinued soon because I love this style sooo much!!

Saggy lace, odd cup fit

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I vary in size between brands (as we all do) so went for a fitting. I ended up in a G cup which, in store, was definitely the best fit. However, the fit, fabric and comfort deteriorated very quickly rendering the bra unwearable in record time. The back strap no longer gave support, the cup fabric sagged and the 'stretch' lace at the top of the cup bagged and frayed it no longer cups the boob. What has happened to Panache? Always my go-to brand, this is a real disaapointment.
