This is NOT a shirt!

I’m afraid I should have read the old reviews but I so liked the idea of this blue jersey shirt that I just ordered. I was so disappointed when it arrived today and I discovered that you can only undo the top three buttons - I wanted a shirt, not a top! Bravissimo, you should really be clearer when you name things! I might have kept this, had the buttons been real but although the fabric is nice (quite fitted) and the colour is good, I am 30HH and the top buttons gaped if I did them up: I have the beautiful sleeveless stripe ruffle shirt from this summer which does up perfectly, unlike this stretchy not-really-a-shirt top. A real shame but back it goes.

I bought this top in the black version in the sale. It is a good weight, good design and lovely fit. (If you don't have a flat stomach though go for the next size up, and it still gives a nice waist). The only thing I'm not please about is the new boring colour way for the shirt. What about purple, olive green, amber, or burgundy ... who thought sludgy blue was a good idea?
