This dress seemed to have a high waistline. The wrapover naturally fell across my boobs, which wasn’t flattering and made the right breast look lumpy. To look like the photo I had to push the wrapover fabric below each breast and pull the waist down, but I wasn’t convinced that it wouldn’t all just spring back up. This isn’t the first Bravissimo outfit I’ve returned for having a high waistline. I’m 5’7’. I never have this problem in high street shops. I would also have preferred a size 6 but Bravissimo doesn’t do a size 6. Is a pity because the dress had a lot of potential. I’d recommend it for a shorter person.
I absolutely love this dress. Love the fact it is not double lined, I still have 2 dresses I have brought from Bravissimo, still with labels on them hanging in my wardrobe because the material is far too think to wear into the office. This one is perfect, fits perfectly, feels amazing and sexy, teamed with some Ruby shoes, just perfect :)
I bought the navy spot and textured blue versions of this dress and they fit beautifully. The top can be adjusted slightly to reveal cleavage or cover up. You will need smooth underwear under this dress unless you have a perfectly smooth figure. Yes, the material is thin and a lined version would be great, but this dress is still gorgeous and flattering. Could be easily worn as smart workwear or dressed up for days/evening out.
I found this really unflattering. The dress was too large for my 67cm waist. Please start making clothes in size 6.
I tried the gingham and loved the fabric, which is quite thick but flattering. However, the sizing is off for me - fitted just like normal high street clothes: My usual 12SC fitted nicely from the waist down but the top was very tight. The 14SC is still tight across the bust but the skirt is baggy, so unfortunately it is going back.
Loved this dress but as it is not lined it clung to my tummy and showed underwear. Love Bravissimo dresses usually but for £60 it should have been lined.
Similar to the one I bought last summer, so I knew the shape was very flattering. with the Due to the weather being so horrid its yet to be worn out.
Loved this dress, it did everything right. I'm 5ft1in and it hit just below my knees in a flattering pencil skirt, you can wear the top section up high over the boobs, or pushed down between the cleavage - I've never had so many complements.
