I haven't tried it out at the beach just yet, but it looks and feels good so far! The band is quite tight, probably tighter than any of my bras, which I guess is necessary since 90% of the support comes from it. But that means the halter strap doesn't dig into my neck as it usually would... The body length fits me well (and I'm short! about 5'2) so maybe it changes depending on the bra size, as some reviewers said they found it too long. It looks really pretty and feels comfortable. Recommended!

My kind of swimsuit

I don't know why everyone seems to dislike this suit but I love it! It is the perfect style for us girls that don't like to flaunt your boobs and want to keep them hidden. The pattern and colour is very nice although I'd like it in some other prints too. The length of the body seems fine to me, I don't like it when a suit has high legs but I can see how this style of body /leg might not suit everyone. My favourite part is the hidden strapless bra and the halter neck. As you have such a secure bra underneath that neck string doesn't dig in as it's the bra supporting your boobs and not the strap. The only thing about the bra is that it would be nice if the cups went up a little further. I have very full breast cups and they sometimes need a little extra coverage and, as this suit goes up high in the front, an extra high cup underneath wouldn't have shown but would feel that little bit more safe. You can easily undo the strap when sunbathing so you don't get a halter tan, the cups are fine without it especially if lying down. The backside is good and covers everything, no brazilian or thong type coverage thank god! It's not too baggy on me at all and I have the flattest bum ever! The only other criticism is the hook at the back, the gap is not the most flattering part on a girl with a few curves but it's to be expected really. I haven't worn it in the pool/at the beach yet but I can't wait to wear it and show it off! Please Bravissimo make more swimsuits and bras that cover up the boobs, I hate drawing attention to them and this suit is the best.

Too long

Review published on:

The fit around the bust was fine, but the body was far too long. I'm 5'6" and there was a lot of excess material. I think unless you're 6' tall, this is probably not going to fit.

fits well and looks good

I am 5' 9" and 34F. This suit fits really well for me. The leg is cut low which you can see here and perhaps is incongruous with the style? but it suits me as makes it feel less showy and more relaxing. I chose it because it doesn't have a seam under the bust separating it from the rest of your body. This means that if you have a tummy, as I do, the suit kind of goes from the top of your tummy to your boobs. Possibly some will feel this is unflattering as might make you look bigger. To be honest, I don't expect a costume to work miracles, I am out of shape and unsurprisingly a swimming costume doesn't sort that out for me! I chose it as I found isolating my boobs makes a real feature of them and I wanted a cozzie that was a bit lower key this time. Also, separating my boobs and tum makes me look slightly pregnant for part of each month! Crucially the rope neck tie is not taking any real weight and the internal bra seems to be operating fine (strapless bras are always a bit of a fiddle - best to bend over and scoop yourself up I find). If it ever gets reworked, I would suggest a slightly more flattering cut to the leg but maybe others are glad for the lower line.

Lovely suit but disappointing fit

Review published on:

I was really excited to see this swimsuit. I've been a bikini 'girl' for years but have got to the age where I'm not sure that showing my abdomen is a good idea and this swimsuit looked elegant and pretty. The bust fit was reasonable (tried this before my recent fitting!) and, although the support wasn't fantastic, I felt it would be OK for a suit that I would mostly be sunbathing and doing some gentle swimming in. But the really disappointing thing was the length of the body. There didn't seem to be much Lycra and there was just way too much material. I do have a slightly shorter than average body but my feeling was that I would have had to be about 6ft tall for this to work. SOOOO disappointing.

Looks lovely, fits poorly

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I was really looking forward to wearing this as I'm currently 4 months pregnant and wanted to cover my stomach. I ordered my new maternity size which is a bit bigger in both cup and back and I still couldn't get this on properly. I'm usually a 32 back bit ordered a 34 (my new maternity back size) and it was still very tight and even with a bit of a bump this was very baggy on my bum and hips so i won't wear it and have sent it back for a refund. It's a shame as it is a lovely swimsuit.

No support and a poor shape.

Sorry Bravissimo. I usually love your stuff but this was a huge disappointment. The shape at the top just makes big boobs look saggy. Coupled with low legs this is not a good look. The inbuilt bra was barely attached to the costume so the fabric slides about - I imagine that if I dived into a pool, I would be displaying the under cups. The cups themselves do not offer enough support to hold up the halter neck. This one's going back.

Feeling Confident

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

After trying on numerous swimsuits this was the only one I felt confident and supported in. Normally I am a 30HH in bra but after trying on a few different sizes I settled for 32GG. The high neckline is fab, even when I took the strap off and bounced around I felt secure and I felt like like my body was flattered in it. Please make more styles like this as this shape really worked for me. Looking forward to wearing it.
