CleoMarcie Bra

Hooray for Marcie - a bra that gives the va-va-voom without the padding! This pretty little number gives a firm forward-facing fit and really rounded upfront shape.

If you love the Marcie bra, why not give the Asher bra a try? It's based on the Marcie bra and gives a really rounded, uplifted shape - we'd love to know what you think if you give it a try!

Bulky and Ill fitting

Review published on:

Customer rating:1 out of 5 stars

It looks really more pretty on the picture than in reality. It didn't fit me at all, it was too loose in the back and the cups were bulky, my (quite soft) boobs bulging under the armpits. It didn't give them a good shape and it felt horrible.

Tall people: do not buy!

The cup fit... "in-cup quadding" is the term for it. Basically, the diagonal seam is sewn too tight relative to the amount of fabric above and below, so it kind of gathers into the seam, digs into the breast, and makes quad-boob without you ever spilling out (so can't be rectified by a size change). The "fully adjustable" straps max out at 13 inches. This is remarkably short. At full stretch, they can reach 18", and I need 17", so you can imagine how badly that means they're digging in at that point. I wouldn't recommend this bra to anyone over 5' 2". It's sheerer than the photo would suggest.

Poor Quality

The bras straps are too tight and has little stretch. The bra also seems very flimsy and the bone is sticking me under the arm. There is also a space on the outer side of the strap

Best purchase this year

I'm quite small busted and a bit insecure about that, but this bra gives a lovely forward facing and uplifting shape without being pointy. Excellent fitting thanks to the staff in store; I had no idea I was anything near the size they put me in, but it's perfect. Very happy with my first purchase, soon to be followed by many more :)

5 out of 5!!!

I have several of these 'Marcie' bras, and just love the support and 'up front' shape it gives me. Having lost 2 stone over the past 18 months, I have gone down a cup size to 32GG, but I'm glad that this bra still gives me a pointy 'full' look. I can wear the bra all day & night and forget that I am wearing it. I love the nude colour, as it is pretty, and not boring like a lot of nude bras can be. Even in the nude colour I feel like I have "va va voom" wearing this bra!! It's the best bra I have ever bought & worn, and the price is reasonable too - more bright colours though please!!

Purchased multiple times

I have purchased this bra several times in multiple colors and sizes. When I gained weight or lost weight, I would buy this bra in a different size and it would still work wonders. The very first time I bought this bra, it lasted about two years, maybe three. It is incredibly flattering in both the chest and the back. Compared to my others bras, I would say this might even make me look like I weigh less too! There really isn't much to say about this bra that is negative, other than I wouldn't recommend doing any gym related activity in it and you must, must, must hand wash every single time due to its delicate nature. I have literally become obsessed with this bra shape. I love the design...very stylish and sexy. If they ever stopped carrying it, I would be devastated.

Lovely change from Tango!

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

This was the suggestion of the lady in the shop after I'd tried what seemed like every other 'nude' bra available. Panache Tango balconette my usual 'go to' style was out of stock and I was desperate...Several weeks on from purchase (usually when a different style gets dumped) - I still love this delicate yet amazingly supportive bra, can't believe how comfortable this is. I agree with other reviewers of larger cup size it works really well for us. I chose not to go down a cup size but cups are generous. More 'forward' fitting than Tango, more supportive than Urban Rose. Works better with a lower neckline and OK with fairly light summer fabrics, the dots can show a bit but not as much as Tango 'leaves'. I Love this bra - please make nicer briefs to match with decent coverage for tums and bums. Thanks ladies for all other reviews which I find really helpful.

A very pretty bra - but size down

Review published on:

Customer rating:4 out of 5 stars

I was sceptical when I saw how comparatively flimsy the Marcie is compared to some of my other bras, but once I got the sizing right (I had to size down - I usually wear a 36HH or 38H but the 36H was perfect in this style) I was impressed. The polka dots and lace trim are so pretty and that flimsiness is actually a big reason why I now love the bra - it's nice to have one in my collection that doesn't feel comically huge and over-engineered. Of course, this involves a trade-off and I do find that after wearing all day, the thin straps dig into my shoulders more than on my Alana bras. But for such a pretty bra and nice shape, I'll put up with that. Let's face it, we big boobed girls know that they're a pain in the back and shoulder at the best of times.
