I was very worried after the second bra fitting of my pregnancy when I was put into a 34H that I wouldn't be able to find any swimsuits that would fit me, and I'd be unable to swim for low-impact exercise. As far as I can tell, Bravissimo is the ONLY brand offering a maternity suit that will fit me! As if there isn't enough to feel uncomfortable about with a drastically changing body.
Bra fittings since I've become pregnant here in Canada have moved me up from a 32 band to a 34 band and from the loosest hook (to adjust down as it stretches) to the tightest hook (to adjust out as my ribcage gets bigger). I don't like this, but I guess it's what they do (along with stretch lace) to compensate for your changing body. My breasts may continue growing, so my two may concerns were that the band would be too big and the cups wouldn't leave me room to grow.
Luckily for me, I agree with the other reviewer that the suit's cups are generous. I have some room to grow still, and the band is fine. However, this means that it does fit differently than bras I've been fitted in, with larger cups and what may be a snug band.
The inside support for the cups has some fabric that seems meant to keep my breasts separated, but I'm not filling it in completely yet so I can't report on how it works. It does sort of bunch under the suit while I don't fill it, but it's not that noticeable and I can fix it. I have to say that for all the concern about wireless bras for pregnant women, so far I much prefer wired support! But this suit has decent support in spite of being wireless, another relief.
The rest of the suit fits me perfectly and it's very cute. I especially love the scalloped neckline. I will update later in my pregnancy if my bump outgrows the suit as the first reviewer found, but it's my first pregnancy and I'm still fairly small at 21 weeks.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bravissimo for helping me continue to feel comfortable in my body with all these changes going on!
