Too small

Unfortunately, I'm already in a 34 J cup. I'd hoped the size would be a little forgiving, but that wasn't the case. The material is nice, but the straps are too thin and were cutting into my shoulders when I tried it on.

Mixed opinion

Brought 32f but exchanged for 32ff, as cups are a little snug, so no room for growth during pregnancy. Good bust support. Band fits, but adjustable would be better for pregnancy due to size changes. Stomach area is quite big on me at 4 months but I’ll grow into it. Looks lovely out of the water, but the scallops on the neck line gape a little and water comes in when swimming which means you feel some drag, and this slows you down a little. Also, concerned others can see down my top underwater, although I think they’d only be able to see as far as the cups. That said, can’t find another maternity swimsuit that fits my bust, so the best option I’ve found so far.

Love, love, love!

I'm sooo grateful to Bravissimo for offering a maternity swiming costume! This is my 3rd pregnancy and having had the embarrassing situation with my first of falling out of a normal maternity swimming costume while doing front crawl in a public swimming pool (!) I'd resorted to bikinis with a large swim top over them to cover the bump and stretch marks... So I was really happy to see this costume come out. I've worn it from around 5 months and it still fits me now at 8 months and has been great for a beach holiday as well as regular pool sessions as I'm a keen swimmer. No falling out problems at all with this one! I'm usually a 30 GG when not pregnant and just went up one back and cup size to the 32H which seemed fine for this pregnancy. I'm 5'8" and size 10-12 usually and the length is perfect. Only slight issues would be to be careful as sun cream stains the white section and it would be nice to maybe offer it with removable straps (and therefore more support) for the beach etc. Not planning on more children but, compared to every other option I've tried, this is incomparably better and I would definitely recommend it. Thanks Bravissimo!

Actually felt secure

Having bought some cheaper tankini style swimwear my husband bought me this (I was struggling to justify the price). I have to say I am so glad he did! It's the one I've used more than any other mainly because I actually feel secure in it. I have a long torso but it's still fitting me now at 34 weeks pregnant and I can't see that changing. The back strap is confidence-boosting tight and the cups fit my 36FFs well. Overall I'm really pleased with this suit, the scalloped edging and fabric make it look nice as well as being comfortable to wear. More designs please Bravissimo!

Amazing swimsuit

Being a 34J and 28 weeks pregnant I couldn’t find a maternity swimsuit anywhere! I am therefore so thankful to Bravissimo for this swimsuit, I went up a size to a 36H and it fits beautifully. Really looks stylish on with nice scalloping detail to the front and classic navy style. Please make more options!

What a relief!

I was very worried after the second bra fitting of my pregnancy when I was put into a 34H that I wouldn't be able to find any swimsuits that would fit me, and I'd be unable to swim for low-impact exercise. As far as I can tell, Bravissimo is the ONLY brand offering a maternity suit that will fit me! As if there isn't enough to feel uncomfortable about with a drastically changing body. Bra fittings since I've become pregnant here in Canada have moved me up from a 32 band to a 34 band and from the loosest hook (to adjust down as it stretches) to the tightest hook (to adjust out as my ribcage gets bigger). I don't like this, but I guess it's what they do (along with stretch lace) to compensate for your changing body. My breasts may continue growing, so my two may concerns were that the band would be too big and the cups wouldn't leave me room to grow. Luckily for me, I agree with the other reviewer that the suit's cups are generous. I have some room to grow still, and the band is fine. However, this means that it does fit differently than bras I've been fitted in, with larger cups and what may be a snug band. The inside support for the cups has some fabric that seems meant to keep my breasts separated, but I'm not filling it in completely yet so I can't report on how it works. It does sort of bunch under the suit while I don't fill it, but it's not that noticeable and I can fix it. I have to say that for all the concern about wireless bras for pregnant women, so far I much prefer wired support! But this suit has decent support in spite of being wireless, another relief. The rest of the suit fits me perfectly and it's very cute. I especially love the scalloped neckline. I will update later in my pregnancy if my bump outgrows the suit as the first reviewer found, but it's my first pregnancy and I'm still fairly small at 21 weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bravissimo for helping me continue to feel comfortable in my body with all these changes going on!

Not a great fit

Wanted to love this (so excited to see Bravissimo branch out into maternity wear - at 34H it's a pain to find anything that fits my boobs!), but sadly didn't work for me. Found cup on large side and band on small side (currently 34H and 34H too big in the cup, 36G big in band but still too large in the cup at least on the inside of the suit). Bump at 24 weeks was already taking up most of the room in the belly, and I'm not huge despite it being my second. Also found it too small in the bum, but I have a curvy bum and find this an issue with swimsuits in general.
