The style of this is perfect on me. I am normally a 34HH but didn’t want it to be as close fitting as a tankini top, so bought a 36GG. It was ideal, but I can see there is a slight issue as some people mentioned that the white bra part inside does ride down slightly. As it’s so comfortable I have decided to keep it and I haven’t had a sun top like this for years. It looks so much better on too. When I saw it in the box first I wondered if I’d made a mistake. But no, love it! The navy is much darker than it looks in the photograph, almost black.
I love this top and have hardly been out of it in the weekends. I made my top a cross over - my sore shoulders really struggle with bras, it works so well as a cross over - wish Bravissimo did more racer back T's with fitted bras. The fabric is great design but it has faded badly. Bought a bigger size to cover large stomach, works well. The flimsy bra gives me perfect support without making me hot.
Loving the new vest tops with soft non-padded insides, so much more comfortable to wear and take on and off than the old stiff styles! The criss-cross design on this one is very flattering. I am a 34G and had no issues whatsoever with support. The front bra part isn't stretchy so won't sag, the bust area is double fabric and because it's one garment the straps and everything work together to provide coordinated support without adding bulk. I actually went for a 36FF on purpose because I wanted a looser less clingy fit round the body (I'm more apple than pear...) Noticed complaints below about fabric quality - I've only washed mine once but so far it seems OK. Would like to see some more adventurous styles in this range beyond plain block colours.
Loved this top and wore it a lot during my holiday. However after the first wash, in a bra bag, the material started bobbling and the straps have already stretched. For the price, I would have expected this to last longer than one wash. Quality of a lot of Bravissimo clothes have deteriorated over the years which is disappointing.
Overall I really liked this top. It’s a lovely design and the cross over front is very flattering. I had to go down a size though as the internal bra is definitely made big! Also the bra can, at times, show over the top hem which is a bit frustrating. I know many have found this top short but I quite liked the length and the clingy fabric!
I ordered a 36H and it fits perfectly and offers great support. However, the material does feel a bit cheap so I doubt it'll last terribly long. It was so comfortable that once I put it on I didn't want to take it off! Not sure it's really worth the close to $80 CAD I paid for it, but I'm keeping it and ordering more. I wore it for a 12 hour work shift and it didn't dig in or chafe. I am very pleased with the support.
Absolutely love this top! I'm usually a 32E though can sometimes prefer a 32DD depending on the fit of the bra or clothing. In this I could have got away with either though decided I preferred the slightly loser fit at the back provided by the 32DD. The built in bra is definitely on the flimsy side, more supportive than a bra shelf but not as heavy duty as a normal bra. Some people might want more structure however, for me, it is sufficiently supportive and really comfortable. The vest top itself fits really well with a good shape without being either clingy or too baggy. I love the blue and white colourway and the crisscross front is really flattering. Can see this being a summer staple, especially on holiday. Be great to see it in more colours.
I ordered this online in my normal size and it was a disaster. I returned it to the shop explaining that the cups were huge and was advised to go down in size and it was much better. The staff were great... and didn't seem surprised my normal size didn't fit. You also need to pull the under top down properly or you can see it at the top. Decided to keep the top as I loved the stripes... fingers crossed that turns out to be a good decision!
