I've just had surgery for breast cancer in my right boob and gone from a 36HH to possibly a DD/E on my right side only. Recovering from surgery in the first few weeks I wore the padded version of this bra and now 6 weeks out am wearing the non padded version on alternative nights.
The mono boob that has been spoken about by other reviewers isn't too much of an issue for me at the moment as I'm so mis matched, its actually helping support me on both sides which couldn't possibly happen with a normal bra, underwired or not! I've worn this unpadded version out a few times and its the only thing I can wear for any length of time that gives me comfortable support.
Due to my unusual sizing issues, I went up in the band and down in the cup in this unpadded version after being fitted pre surgery in a shop with the padded version.
I ordered quite a few versions to try on at home post surgery and am v happy with what works for me at this stage.
I've got a long road ahead of me with my cancer treatment and at least 9 months before my left boob will be reduced to match my right, so I can see that this bra is going to be my mainstay for quite some time. I have it in both grey and navy and hope that it will come out in some other colours at some point soon!!!
The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was the price, as I've had to buy quite a few of these bras its been a costly few weeks.
