Description

We're super happy to offer this padded sleep bra which has a regular bra back, so it’s as easy to put on as your normal bra. We’ve also made the straps super comfortable with extra padding. This sleep bra size range covers two cup sizes - the dual sizing means it will always be more accommodating than our standard bras.

We hope it’s a winner for those of us who want a bit of extra support as you’re sleeping or lounging. As always, please let us know what you think!

Really good and comfy

I love this, I had thought they seemed a bit poinltess but I decided to try one and it was really comfy. It stays in place well over night and during lazy days in my flat. I did think the shoulder straps seemed a bit wide set when I tried it on and I did kinda expect them to move overnight but they have stayed in place every night. The only thing is I wish it came in more colours as navy isn'ty really my thing and the grey is just too pale - I have a black cat and everything is covered in cat hair. A nice dark grey or solid colour would be nice (as would a black).

sagging mono-boob

My lovely PJ top needed a replacement after years of use. This bra seemed a good option, as it doesn't have a racer back to wrestle through. But... the elastic in the back and on the shoulders is too soft to give any support, and the front panel is so narrow, it pulls my breasts together. The result is one big sagging mono-boob.

Comfy, but needs a few tweaks.

I was really pleased to see that a sleep bra finally came in my size, so I had to try it. I wear a 32K in the Panache Jasmine, and a 34K in the couple of Bravissimo bras that I own. I first tried a 34JJ/K and the band was massive; I had it on the tightest hooks and it was still a bit loose and wasn't supportive. Boob space was OK. So I then tried a 32JJ/K and this band was better, although the band itself is very stretchy (probably for comfort) and the stitching at the top of the band is less stretchy, which is a bit strange, but then I guess for a sleep bra, some support has been compromised. I'd have liked the band to be a bit wider as well - even have something with 4 hooks rather than 3. Ideally, I'd be able to get this in a 32K/KK as it would have more boob room but as it's a sleep bra it doesn't matter as much. The straps are padded although I'd like them to be wider, and the adjustable section of the strap at the back is only about 1cm wide. I wore it last night and my boobs do feel a bit squished in and trussed up, and pushed together, but this morning there wasn't much movement and I was still comfortable. Despite all the squishing, it's not uplifting at all. I wouldn't wear this in the warmer weather, as it would be too hot - a K sized monoboob would be a little bit like having a hot water bottle strapped to my chest...... Looks-wise, it just looks like a crop top. The shape that it gives isn't attractive at all (especially from the side) - I actually wouldn't feel at all comfortable answering the door in this, and I wouldn't want to lounge in it if we had visitors. I can wear it at home with my partner, but would feel really self-conscious in front of anyone else. But, what I have got is a comfy bra top that I can sleep in and feel confident that my boobs will be in the same place when I wake up as when I went to sleep.

Matronly monoboob

I get that this is a sleep bra and isn’t supposed to be sexy, but I wasn’t expecting it to be as unflattering and frumpy as it was. It was too depressing to look at when it was on for me to feel remotely comfortable, so it’s going back.

I never knew I was missing this from my life!

I have always struggled with feeling comfortable in my PJs/lazy clothes with a large chest. I've worn crop tops to bed since a teenager, but never felt the support was there and would slip out of in during my sleep. These sleep bras are absolutely incredible. Went for a fitting at the MK store to try one on and instantly fell in love. Super comfortable, look great and the exact support you need (not too much like a wired bra, but enough to feel comfortable and that my chest will stay in place). Under PJs it's great, but on it's own it's still enough coverage I feel to wear as part of my summer PJs. Just purchased the new one in navy, so that I always have one while the other is washing. Best product for my boobs EVER.

Respite from the underwire!

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

I got this to wear on days when I need to have time off from the tyranny of underwired bras. (Yes, I've tried non-wired bras and they are uniformly awful). And it works OK; the shape isn't exactly flattering and your boobs are slung somewhat lower than normal, but you'd expect that for something intended to be worn in bed. However the padding is intrusive, it takes a bit of womanhandling to get your baps in the right place, and I feel a bit trussed up in it, just as with the camisole tops with integral bras. The one advantage this has over those is that you don't have to struggle getting it over your head (I usually end up exhausted before I've even had a chance to do up the bra!). So generally a useful addition to the weaponry against sore underboobs, but does the padding have to be quite so, well, matronly? What I'd really like is an underwired bra that doesn't cut my underboob area to shreds or dig into my flesh under the arms. Or a non-wired bra that did a bit more in terms of shape, comfort, style, you name it...

Padded sleep bra 34J

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

I found the padded sleep bra extremely comfortable, and it was fantastic during the warm weather. It’s ok to wear under a regular nighty or even for when you get home from work. I can’t sleep unsupported and it makes a change from the pyjama tops, of which I have lots.

So soft!

I love this! I bought it as a soft but functional bra I can wear when at home, rather than for actual sleeping, and it's spot on. I love the design too, really simple.
