I was really pleased to see that a sleep bra finally came in my size, so I had to try it. I wear a 32K in the Panache Jasmine, and a 34K in the couple of Bravissimo bras that I own. I first tried a 34JJ/K and the band was massive; I had it on the tightest hooks and it was still a bit loose and wasn't supportive. Boob space was OK. So I then tried a 32JJ/K and this band was better, although the band itself is very stretchy (probably for comfort) and the stitching at the top of the band is less stretchy, which is a bit strange, but then I guess for a sleep bra, some support has been compromised. I'd have liked the band to be a bit wider as well - even have something with 4 hooks rather than 3.
Ideally, I'd be able to get this in a 32K/KK as it would have more boob room but as it's a sleep bra it doesn't matter as much.
The straps are padded although I'd like them to be wider, and the adjustable section of the strap at the back is only about 1cm wide.
I wore it last night and my boobs do feel a bit squished in and trussed up, and pushed together, but this morning there wasn't much movement and I was still comfortable. Despite all the squishing, it's not uplifting at all. I wouldn't wear this in the warmer weather, as it would be too hot - a K sized monoboob would be a little bit like having a hot water bottle strapped to my chest......
Looks-wise, it just looks like a crop top. The shape that it gives isn't attractive at all (especially from the side) - I actually wouldn't feel at all comfortable answering the door in this, and I wouldn't want to lounge in it if we had visitors. I can wear it at home with my partner, but would feel really self-conscious in front of anyone else.
But, what I have got is a comfy bra top that I can sleep in and feel confident that my boobs will be in the same place when I wake up as when I went to sleep.
