I used to prefer the racerback pj tops. Howver, I had a mini stroke back in July and getting my racerbacks on and off is challenging. I bought this when I got out of hospital. In a racerback I take a 34GG-H, but because of dexterity issues I decided to go for a larger band size, a 36 in this style. As I went for a larger band size, I needed a smaller cup size so I bought this in a 36FF-G, I can step in and out of it with ease and wiggly into it easily too. It's not as supportive as a racerback (probably because I went up a band size), but at the moment I just want comfort. Because I've been ill, I've been spending more than usual in my pjs. For most ladies I would say, order this in your usual size. The only reason why I went up a band size was so I could get this on and off more easily.
A few weeks ago, I had to wear a pesky heart monitor over the weekend which was very uncomfortable. Instead of wearing a bra, I wore this, both in bed and under my day clothes. (There was no way I was going to be able to get a bra on in my condition, and with a heart monitor strapped to my chest.) At some point, I do hope to go back to wearing my racerbacks on a regular basis. But for the time being, I have this lovely cami top to wear in bed, I have just ordered the navy one with stars on, again in a 36 band.
I'm also getting hot flushes at night as well, and this is great for making sure that I don't over heat in bed.
