Description

Lots of you tell us that this is the best T-shirt bra you've ever worn. It’s moulded and lightly padded so it gives a really smooth, rounded shape (as well as the extra job of covering your nipples!). The microfibre fabric makes it feel soft and silky and the seam-free wings and padded hook and eye make it super-comfortable to wear. You can even change the straps to wear it as a crossover back if you prefer a racerback look or find your straps sometimes slip off your shoulders - bonus!

Just what I wanted!

I have been looking for a bra for months that is simple and gives me a nice shape. This is it! It’s lovely and smooth, giving you a nice rounded shape rather than being pointy! Also doesn’t make me look huge which many bras do.

Panache response was disappointing!

This bra used to be a staple of mine. It was the best thing I owned as a large breasted woman. The new style is horrendous and I agree with my fellow wearers. I wrote to Panache for an answer and the response I got was that they've made the changes for 'smoother appearance', 'better hanger appeal' and 'more premium look'. If these are what you are prioritizing, it doesn't seem like your bras are 'crafted for fit'. Happy to broadcast the email I got somewhere.

Disappointed in the change

This was my favourite bra, then it changed. The new fabric and style is not as good. I found the top of the bra curled outwards after a few washes. I thought it was just me, and made sure they did not go in the machine or dryer, made no difference. Very disappointed.

Doesn't fit

The cup is too small, or too flat, or both. My boobs don't really fit in there. The bra is flattening them and pushing the flesh outside.

Dreadful bra

Review published on:

I have worn the porcelain elan balconette bra for years and it was faultless. I recently bought a new one , was fitted in a shop and recommended a larger cup size (sad face). The new bra is truly awful. I agree with everything the two previous reviewers say. The cups sit awkwardly, the wires dig in viciously enough to cause considerable pain. Shame on the manufacturer

New style is so disappointing

I agree with others... this was my go-to style for years but the new style is no match. For me the fit is ok but it is the quality that is so disappointing. Like others after a couple of washes the top of the cups have turned outwards so they are no longer smooth at all. I've moved on to Freya Idol instead.

The new version is awful

I've had my pair of new-style Porcelain bras for a few months now, so I thought I'd weigh in on the discussion of the new style. It sucks. I could never have imagined feeling so genuinely gutted about a bra. Bravissimo should change the description, because this style used to be the 'best t-shirt bra we've ever worn', but this is NOT THE SAME BRA. Literally everything that was good about it has changed. The straps are wider and uncomfortable, not the soft and elegant straps they used to be. The way they are attached to the cup is also very different: it used to be a smooth transition with the strap kind of continuing along the side, now they are just sewn together. The shape of the cups is weird and not as flattering, certainly not as comfortable as before. The material is more stiff and the fabric more shiny. After a few washes, the cups on both of my new-style bras began to lose their shape so that the edges are turned outward and are showing under every t-shirt. Sweat and water stains now show very easily. This is NOT the same bra and I am sorry, but they are not equivalent. The original was perfect, this is a fraud. Gutted!

Don’t fix what isn’t broken!!

As a 36G I have loved this bra for years as a day to day staple and have owned dozens. Since this last update with the crossover straps it’s just not the same, not as comfortable, feels less secure as the straps pop off sometimes and the thicker padding in the moulded cups leave odd lumps and bumps under your clothes now. Had to return them and now on the hunt for a new T-shirt bra. Please bring the old one back Panache!!
