For reference, I'm 5'4" and fairly curvy 10/12 with a 30F bra size. I tried the 30F and 32E but both were far too short in the torso - meaning the strip below your breasts was just above my waist. I also really struggled to close the back on this suit (it wasn't the wrong size, just didn't seem easy for a right-handed person maybe?) - I mean it took me like 10 minutes and had me wondering if I was crazy. Just not right for me due to both issues. Given that I'm not tall and barely average height I was surprised how how short this was in the torso. Also, i've got full hips so found the bottom half fit well, but it seems weird to me for a suit to only have a bra size - after all I can't buy underwear bottoms based on my breast size. Glad there are larger busted options but clearly we need sizing options for the rest of the suit as well. The suit was beautiful otherwise and seemed quite good quality unfortunately the short torso and difficult clasp were deal breakers. If you have a short torso and are curvy you may find this works for you.
I got this swimwear this morning and put it to the test this afternoon . I had a similar style previously. But underwire did not last long in the stitching. This swimsuit seems better made. I love the shape and support it gives . I’m a size 16 and bought a 34GG , it is a little tricky to squeeze over my hips but once on it’s perfect and easy to fasten at the back. Thank you for the lovely style ( I had been wearing a swimsuit with a non wired support... I felt I had less support and left me with a mono boob!) So happy I invested in this one .. encourage me to swim more often x
I have been buying these swimsuits for several years having tried plenty of others bravissimo have in their range and I love the support and look it gives me and other ladies in my aqua class and around the pool often complement me and ask where I get them from. I used to have the 34FF when I was a 32FF. I am 5ft 1inch and there is a bit of extra length in the body but my hips were 40 inches so probably some of the length was taken out by the width needed. I lost some weight last year and now am 30FF and buy 32 FF swimsuit and it still is a good fit. I have a little bum so have no trouble with the costume riding up. I've not experienced the water collecting in the bum area and I swim in a pool twice a week. It lasts quite a good length of time if looked after as recommended. I never use the spinning machine at the pool to dry it out as I think this messes up the fabric and encourages the wires to poke out, but wrap it in a towel to dry before taking it home to wash.
This suit looks good on, and feels good on dry land. But when you start swimming, the water floods down the back and collects around the crotch, giving you the effect of dragging a parachute around your bottom.
