Certainly not my choice of colours but as the teal is no longer available I was forced to go coral. It fits like a second skin, smooth yet so supportive. Unbelievablely comfortable and sizing is spot on. I'd recommend it to any serious swimmer or to anyone who likes comfy swimwear.
As a supportive activewear swimsuit, this is my best ever. And in addition to its sports-related function, I find it flattering too. Can't recommend it highly enough!
I bought this suit in the 36F (normally E). I have to say from the front this practical but pretty suit looked fabulous; well supported bust but no cleavage showing (unusual for me) and good control in the body which was just the right length. It even made my waist look really small. The back, however, is a different story. Firstly, I really struggled to do the back strap up (no-one around to help) and secondly, when fastened, it sort of changed the shape of the back. It caused a few bulges and the "keyhole" under the strap lifted away from my body causing a gap. It looked very odd and not at all flattering. The front of the suit looked pretty good without the strap done up so I don't see why it needs to be quite so tight. I thought briefly of trying a 38 to see if the back strap was looser but I had a feeling the body would be too big. To be honest this costume would have to be better than just ok to justify spending nearly £60. Sadly it will have to be returned.
Finally, a sporty swimsuit with the support necessary for sporting activity. My sport is BeBoard, which means I jump on an inflatable board, do muscle exercises, fall into the water and climb back onto the board. No problem with the swimsuit at all. I not only feel well dressed but also supported. This swimsuit please also in bright colors and more swimsuits from Speedo with back fastener. I love love love it!
Finding practical swimsuits is the bane of my existence. Which is why I am so happy to have found this one. I cant comment on it as a training swimsuit, but can highly recommend it as a swimsuit that holds everything in if you want to be a bit active in the surf or around a pool. The only negative I have is that I bought it at the full price just before it went on sale :(
Really nice and practical swimsuit. I have not experienced any drag through the water. The suit is a good body length (I am only 5' 2" but have a longer body) and really easy to put on and fasten at the back as the clasp is a decent size to work with. A bit annoyed that reduced by £15 only days after I have paid full price!
I swim laps at least weekly for the last 9 years, and these have been my go-to swimmers- I'm onto about my sixth pair. Intermittently try other styles, but no other makes the grade. Supportive. Allows lap swimming without adjustments. Holds up in a heavily chlorinated outdoor pool (I always hand rinse- they last about a season with regular use). Right size and you don't flash ample cleavage to the guy in the next lane. I haven't felt the same 'drag' issue other reviewer mentioned, but I wear a rashy for sun protection a lot of swims anyway, so it may be all relative. Bottom doesn't feel baggy, but having put on weight it does now ride up my bottom (I plan to buy the next band size up with my next pair which fits with what is happening with my bras). I wear my cup and band size. The decorations under the bust doesn't wow me, so I keep a 'pretty' pair of swimmers for social/holidays.
I bought this costume at the weekend, fed up looking lumpy in my normal Speedo I decided to give the underwire version a go. I’m 5ft 8” and wear a 12/14 and a 34GG. It’s a brilliant fit and looks amazing, I mean it actually gives shape and support. Unfortunately I swim a mile a day (64 lengths) and found the costume heavy, it seems to hold water at the bust and crotch area, giving a drag effect which was quite off putting. I will persevere and see if I get used to it, or see if perhaps as the costume softens and ages it might expel water easier. Other than that I will keep it for kayaking and go back to my old lumpy Speedo.
