Unfortunately, one of the straps tore after less than 1 week. I had to sew it back together; not the quality you’d expect given the price. Also as some other reviews mentioned, the lace part creeps upwards so this can only be worn with relatively high necklines.
I have always wore the Freya Deco bras, so when I had my son this naturally was my chosen bra, and I loved it. I purchased both the black and nude, and found them comfy, supportive and also with the lace trim sexy! Would 100% recommend.
So I ordered this before I gave birth, due to panic as can't get anything in my size in Switzerland. I had had a fitting in London, and advised this size, unfortunately this bra is huge in the cup! I also found it makes my boobs go out to the side a bit. However this might be different if I went down a cup. Unfortunately shipping to Switzerland to test that out is just too costly for me, with tax on top etc. and then to send back if it doesn't work. In comparison in sizing, I am a perfect 34H in hot milk, Panache 34J is too small in cup and big in back. And the 34H I have in this bra is good in back but too big in cup. So maybe 34GG would be better... So hard when pre nursing I was a 30HH in Bravissimo bras...
I'm with my first child and finding proper maternity bras hasn't been easy.. I was a bit hesitant of buying this because of the other reviews, but am very happy I did! The straps and the little bits of fabric next to boobs felt a bit itchy at first, but no more. The cups are perfect and soft, and it's very easy to move your boobs in and out of them. Wearing this bra a lot!
Brought this bra in October and was initially in two minds about choosing an under-wired style. After trying non-wired bras which provided no support I decided this was the best option. This bra was the only under-wired nursing bra available at the Ealing Broadway store and during the fitting process was re-assured that although it felt a little bit tight, it would feel better once I had nursed my baby. Since October I have attempted to wear this bra twice, the first time it was just too uncomfortable but also very unflattering and the second time caused me to have mastitis. I did hope that maybe after I reduced breast feeding that it may fit but too be honest im too afraid to try after the mastitis incident. I would suggest all breast feeding mums to stick to the recommendation of non-wired bras and try as many different ones until you find one that is decent. Dont trust your initial fitting if you do purchase this bra, try it on at home and see how comfortable it is first.
This bra is comfy for me but the wires go up so high between my breasts that they stick out and jab my baby when I'm carrying him! As other reviewers have said, the cups are cut very high and do show in many tops. Personally I don't like the way it looks because it holds my boobs out to the sides so from the front they look huuuuge and not in a flattering way but in a way that adds a few pounds. Not good. Maybe just ill fitting, I don't know, but the worst part is the wires jabbing my baby. All the rest I can put up with because I haven't found any better nursing bra yet :(
Brilliant bra, almost like wearing a normal one. It gives great shape and support and is extremely comfortable. So much so I have bought three of them.
I was feeling so depressed by how the usual non-wired nursing bras were making my bust look (basically droopy and matron-like) so was really happy when this arrived and gave me some lift and support. It's so comfy; I have basically worn it everyday for the last six months!
