Description

Calling all runners! This non-wired sports bra has been specially designed to reduce bounce when running and doing other high impact activities. It works by compression which means it holds your boobs close in to your rib cage to minimise jiggle. The inside of the cups and underband have no seams so it’s smooth next to your skin and the fabric is breathable to keep you comfortable.

This style comes up small in the back, so we suggest going up a back size from your usual size but keep the cup size the same.

Please make longer shoulder straps!

I bought one of these years and years ago, but only recently started wearing it again as I started training again. My breasts are well supported when running and I like the lack of seams in the cups. However, after a few weeks of training I developed awful neck/shoulder pain as I primarily weight lift and the straps dig hard into my shoulders - the rubber has also partially ripped one side so always wonder if the strap will undo - as it has occasionally. I am tall (5'8") and so on advice from the shop staff ordered a bigger cup size but while the fit is still good the straps are the same length! Please Shock Absorber - do some customer research with taller women and see how these straps work on us!

Wish it came in larger cup sizes!

As somebody very petite, with a small back and shoulders, I loved the adjustability of the straps. Unfortunately, the cups just weren't big enough, even in the largest cup size. I can see how this could be a really great, highly supportive bra, and just wish they could increase their size range. I would definitely agree that you need to go up at least one back size - as a 28, the 30 was snug but comfortable (could go for a 32 if you wanted a bit more wiggle room).

What is going on with their sizing?

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

This has been my go to running bra for the last 10 years but now they seem to have changed their sizing and sizing inconsistent even across colours! In normal bras I’m a 28FF. I’m on my 4th order trying to get the right size. I need the blue I am now ordering a 32D and in the purple I gave up when I couldn’t make the back meet on a 34F! This is a real shame as this was a great product

Run bra shocker

Review published on:

Customer rating:1 out of 5 stars

I love shock absorber bras and bought at least 20 in the past. So I thought I’d try the Run bra for a change very disappointed, as soon as I started to sweat the material became loose and the bra started to ride so that the back raised and the boobs drooped. Giving no support whatever, please think again shock absorber, going back to my trusted one :)

Not true to size

I recently bought a 34FF as I am usually a 32FF but this product is way too tight, I bought 3 different styles to see and all of them were so tight I had to send all of them back, I'm ordering a 36FF but have never been a 36 in all my life...

Wanted this bra to be great

I am a big fan of the wired panache bra. I loved the design of this bra, but overall has to be a pass for me. I am usually a 32E, size rarely fluctuates, but this bra was mega tight on me, I'd definitely need to size up. Then, I also feel as others have said - the top fastening is quite complicated

Most supportive bra I've ever had

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

This is my go-to bra when I'm going to do a lot of jumping - I've never found anything else this supportive. The band is tight and some might find the bra difficult to do up, but if you make sure that you get the right back size (perhaps one size up from what you get usually, though I take the same size in the run bra as I do in the Shock Absorber Multi bra) and you think that you'll be able to do up the clip at the back, then I definitely recommend this bra.

Unreliable Straps

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I thought I was doing something wrong when I was putting this bra on which caused the straps to come undone anytime, anywhere, but having read the other comments I see I am not alone! The bra is pretty comfy and when it stays done up, it gives good support when running however cannot be trusted. The shoulder straps ping open at will - including in a Pilates class of all things! Most embarrassing was at the start of the Great South this year when my husband had to hoick me back in... mortifying for both of us....
