Have Zoggs ever seen a bra?

Review published on:

Customer rating:1 out of 5 stars

I'm pretty gobsmacked about this one, though it does explain why it's on sale. This swim suit has something inside it in the boob area, but it is by no means what I would call a bra and it certainly isn't suitable for anyone with anything less than self supporting boobs (or in other words, I can't see how its suitable for anyone who *needs* to wear a bra). It's simply a weird extra piece of material with 2 small bits of vaguely concave padding stuck to it. I tried on a 30H, and the 'bra' bit consisted of a 'shelf', as you would find in a non bra sized swimsuit, with two padded bits attached - I'd guess they were roughly 6cm across, with a very slight curve so that the middle of the padded 'cup' was no more than 2 centimetres 'deep'. I have absolutely no clue how this is supposed to support H cup breasts, the 'cups' covered way less than half of my boobs. I would have had pretty much the same support buying a bog standard non bra sized swimsuit for a tenner from a supermarket. For comparison, I'm wearing, and well supported by, 30GG in Freya Expression, Cleo Atlanta and Bravissimo Bay bra. My previous go to swimsuit was the Freya Active Freestyle Underwired Swimsuit which has a proper bra in it and is great for laps in the pool. Unfortunately, Bravissimo don't seem to sell it anymore, so I will have to get my swimwear from elsewhere I think. The Zoggs swimsuit would get zero stars from me if possible, purely because I do not see how it can be classed as a cup sized swimsuit, and I actually feel conned by it. I am glad I didn't pay for postage or I would be really miffed.

Too short in the body

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

I'm 5'3" and I found this swimsuit too small in the body. I also didn't like the circular pads that sit over your boobs, they seemed too small and also gave me a strange look. Disappointing as I like the style and colour.

Short in the body & moulded cups

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

This is a very nice swimsuit for general swimming but it was too short in the body which made the cups flatten my chest and straps looked gathered. It's a lovely suit but just not for my shape. I've had a Zoggs Tankini for years and it's brilliant. Unfortunately it will have to go back.

Comfy and flattering

I can't comment on the durability of colours - not had it long enough - but in all other aspects a really good and a confidence building swimsuit. I always struggle with the fasten-at-the-back ones so prefer this.

Perfect for proper swimming!

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

I have tried many different swimsuits/sets since my previous Zoggs Bravissimo tankini died. Until this swimsuit I have not found anything that fits so well and, most importantly, stays snug and in place during proper exercise swimming. I had been nervous to try a swimsuit as I am 5'11" tall but, after a snug first two swims it gave and fits perfectly. I have started swimming in an exercise pool against a jet and this suit stays snug even in the face of water jets. Will definitely get it in the other colour too. Fully recommend it!

Nice but didn't hold colour

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I really liked this costume and style. I had to size up, as my normal size was very small. I swim a lot as have been training for an event, but within a few weeks, the coloured bands had completely lost their colour and faded to grey. I purchased the same suit again as I thought I'd been unlucky. So far it's OK, but I've only been sea swimming in it. I don't hold out much hope of the colour surviving the swimming pool. Bit disappointing for such a nice costume, that was not cheap.

Long and baggy

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

While it fits really well in the chest, this swimsuit is way too long and baggy on the hips for someone of my height (5 foot 2). Pity, as it seems like a good quality sports swimsuit.

Good sports swimsuit

So far, this is holding up well to the chlorine etc. Sizing runs quite small in the cup - I could really have gone up at least one cup size, but due to the lack of wires and wanting to use it I just opted to keep the size I got. Perhaps as a result of this, I found it to be quite flattening which isn't the best of looks - although at least it keeps everything under control when trying to swim lengths! The 36 seems to be a fairly true to size 14/16 in the body and, as others have mentioned, quite short (but as I have a short torso this is one of the things which attracted me to this swimsuit). It has a nice low leg and good coverage. Not particularly stylish, but for the intended purpose of swimming for fitness it's ideal.
