Description

Tango balconette has been a Bravissimo girl favourite for years and is a go-to for many. The non-stretch cups provide really firm support and a rounded shape with plenty of uplift. It’s a great option for those of us who have less fullness in our boobs as the rigid fabric keeps you ‘in place’.

Only bra that fits me; restore quality!

Hear, hear to Katherine from Belgium on 5th Dec. Bravissimo, your silence on what is going on really doesn't help. Why has the quality of this superb bra deteriorated? Are you having problems with supplier etc? We'd sympathise if we only knew! This is literally the only comfy bra I've found after many fittings. This matters to us as much as the horrible time we had before you existed. PLEASE don't let us down! And yes, please get this made up in non-embroidered fabric so that we too have a comfy bra to wear unseen under tee-shirts.

relieved to see its not just me

I haven't looked at reviews, but have been despairing that I must be doing something wrong. I hand wash, dry on the line, but the wires pop out, sometimes after only a couple of wears. Repairing doesn't work - the stitching rubs, and the wires still work their way out. But now I see I am not alone! Like many others, this was my go to bra- soft lace just bulges. Please make this bra how it used to be. We larger ladies need quality.

Poor quality

Review published on:

Customer rating:2 out of 5 stars

I have bought this bra for years and was so pleased to have found one that fits as I am a 32JJ. The last 3 bras have been of a significantly poorer quality with the material tearing and the wires popping out after a short time. Why is nothing being done about the problems with this bra as others are obviously having the same experiences?

whilst this is a great bra I wish it was made in a plain flat material so that it looks good under t/shirts, I mean without the raised jacquard design on the fabric, it’s very difficult to get a bra bigger in cup size than HH in a plain material, yes there are plenty available in smaller cup sizes, so something for you guys to look at and re design, otherwise a good bra but not under t/shirts or any plain tops

Poor Quality

I have been wearing this bra for many, many years. Trust me I have tried other styles, spent hours in the Bravissimo changing room going through style after style just to come back to the Tango. But, now I find the quality is on the decline - the wires pop out and no matter how strongly I stitch them back in they pop out again. Also I have just ordered 3 more in black green and rose. The rose does not fit at all but the other 2 do. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE this bra but PLEASE, PLEASE sort out the problems otherwise I will have no option but to remain braless! I jest not.

Gone downhill

I used to love this bra and it was my everyday staple, I would buy it in a range of colours and as one bit the dust I’d happily replace with the same style. Along with many other reviewers I have noticed a decline in quality, and have had to find another staple (the Freya Idol) which unfortunately also seems to have issues with wires breaking or coming out. I’m down to one bra at the moment with no idea what to buy next :-(

When will this be fixed?

For a long while now the reviews on the Tango bra have been getting worse, yet still nothing appears to have changed. Like others, this has been my staple bra for longer than I can remember! Now the material tears easily, the straps come loose and fall off my shoulder and the bones at the side stick in me. Like others I have big boobs (32HH) and can’t wait to release myself from the agony of this bra! Come on Bravissimo get the manufacturer to sort it out!

What has happened to this bra - and why is nobody taking any notice?

Review published on:

Like many others on here, this used to be my go to bra, always quality, always comfortable and the toughest wires in the business. I bought two in nude recently, one I had to repair constantly until it ripped down the middle of the cup for no reason, the other is still going but I now have to wear an elasticated extender on the back and straps to keep the arm straps together until my bra resembles some sort of harness, It's not comfortable and is a relief to take off at the end of the day. The wires have stuck into my armpit so much I have sore bits there. It doesn't help that they have changed the extenders to the bottom of the arm straps so they're always bunched up and not doing their job. Why is nobody taking any notice of all of these reviews? And what alternative is there - Bravissimo's own brand just aren't as strong despite being designed by a company that purports to specialise in bras for bigger boobs!! My bras are always handwashed so there's no excuse for this.
