PanacheTango Bra

Tango balconette has been a Bravissimo girl favourite for years and is a go-to for many. The non-stretch cups provide really firm support and a rounded shape with plenty of lift. It’s a great option for those of us who want a really secure fit thank to the rigid fabric that really keeps you ‘in place’.

The old favourite.

I have tried to buy different bras at times, but have kept coming back to this one for the past 10 years, as the support and fit is best for me. I have just bought two more, but had to get a bigger size. The material is not quite as good as 10 years ago, but I live in hope that the wires will not poke through too quickly, which happens sometimes.

Went to a Bravissimo store to get measured for the first time in 5 years. This was the first bra I tried on and it was the perfect fit! I have full breasts so they sit well in the cups and it's so comfy that it feels like it's not there. I now have this in Navy and Red - it helps that the design is gorgeous too. The matching briefs are just as comfortable too. My confidence has skyrocketed since I got these.

My last Tango?!

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

I completely agree with the other reviewers who are disappointed in the quality of the Panache Tango. I have bought this great fitting bra for years now. But in the past 3 months 4 of my Tango bras have broken: 2 the wires snapped under the bust, 2 the wires popped out at the front. Additionally, the straps slip, the material under the cups rolls up and I constantly have to dig it out of my rib cage and the wires under my armpit have started to dig in. The latest unusual fault - one of the hooks opens and need to be squeezed back in (do you know how difficult that is in a plane toilet cubicle?!) This bra only lasts a few months. Sadly I will have to look for better bra unless the quality is restored.

I just love this bra. Fits me perfectly so therefore own it in most of the colours and always looks forward to a new one being brought out.

After many trips to Bravissimo for fittings over the years I keep returning to the Panache Tango as my go-to everyday bra as the fit is the best for my uncommonly large cup size! I have been a fan of the Tango for years. Eventually the wire would pop out and I'd accept that as wear and tear. However, the last 4 bras I have bought the wire pops in the cleavage after a few months of wear. Each one failing at about the same point. Digs in the side sometimes and underboob strap is uncomfortable. Clearly disappointing. Also lately the shoulder straps slip and refuse to remain tightened. The Tango bra is still my bra of choice by default as options of good fit so limited but would like the quality to improve/ return to what it used to be..

Love it!

The normal Freya bra I buy isn’t being stocked anymore so I had to think out of the box and jump ship and try another brand! I read loads of reviews about the tango bra and I think you need to try the bra for yourself... I was really in two minds and when I purchased the bluebell coloured bra, I was not disappointed! It fits beautifully. Although a ‘balconette’ it fits more than that, so your boobs don’t ‘pop over the top’! You all know what I mean! I loved it so much I’ve bought it in red, black and white! Wahoo!

Bitter disappointment

Having been a Panache Tango classic wearer for about as long as the bra was manufactured, I finally decided I would have to give in and buy some new bras. I tried the new Tango since it had a similar name and I thought it might be a similar fit. No way! Even though I've gone up a cup size (now need G), the FF bra has enough room in the top of the cups for my shopping, never mind my boobs! Additionally, the small fabric band beneath the underwire rolls under, creating an uncomfortable ridge across my ribs. I bought this bra online, but was also fitted for it in my recent trip to the Covent Garden shop and the assistant agreed with my conclusions. It was after being fitted that I decided to write this review. Why on earth have Panache changed everything? The original Tango classic was worth it's weight in gold to me. I am so very disappointed. This new model was a complete waste of money for me.

Still as brilliant as ever

I have been wearing this bra for over 10 years and went to a "size check up" this month. I had changed sizes slightly and I am pleased to report that this bra is as comfortable as ever. It still gives amazing support and looks beautiful in the Bluebell.
