FreyaFancies Bra

This style gives a rounded shape and great support thanks to a double layer of lace in the bottom cups and the top cups are stretch lace for a great fit. We’d love to hear if it takes your ‘fancy’!

The GG+ cup sizes are a balconette shape without the keyhole detail, and with lined top cups rather than stretch lace.

Missing the gap

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

Bought this bra as it has the little cut out/gap between the cleavage. Order has arrived and it’s missing the gap/cut out. Bra isn’t as comfy as the Envy, Cleo or Jasmine. It makes my boobs feel very pointy. I’m afraid it’s going back.

So pretty and flattering

Looking for a bra that's more feminine than my usual Alana style. I am very pleased I sent off for this one - so pretty with its lacy cups & little pale pink bow. I absolutely love the fact it has just the one fastening at the back. Haven't had one of those since I was a teenager. Ultra comfortable and supportive.

Just amazing

I originally bought this bra in a larger size but lost some weight and needed to downsize. It's a miraculously engineered bra, being brilliantly cool for summer but providing really firm support despite the single hook. I usually have to buy mail order but happened to see this in a store, so was able to try on multiple sizes in different colours. What I found was that there was virtually no difference between a 34F and 36E, though I ended up going for the 34F, figuring that a bra is more likely to stretch/relax over time than shrink. Anyway, I highly recommend this but if you're between sizes, go lower. (I'm usually a 36 in brands like Cleo, 34 in Bravissimo). Anyway, I hope that Bravissimo can eventually stock the full colour range, because there are more available than currently listed. I now own this bra in six different colours!

My new favourite bra

Review published on:

Bought this in the green which is a lovely colour. The fit is perfect, gives a good shape and feels very comfortable to wear. Will definitely buy in more colours. I often buy Freya bras as they just work for me, the central rise of the wire is not too high making this style perfect for me.

Poor advertising

I tried this bra on in store. After having spotted something pretty and delicate on the shop floor I asked for it in my size: the thing the sizing assistant brought to me 5 minutes later was an entirely different bra. I am a 30HH/30J and the bra above a GG cup is designed very differently. It upsets me that Bravissimo choose to stock this style as it reinforces the idea we all see in mainstream lingerie stores that big boobs are not beautiful and need great big ugly scaffolding like monstrosities for support. Larger than a GG this bra is reminiscent of nursing bras or something my grandmother would’ve worn in the 50s - upsetting as it is so pretty in smaller sizes. I am adding this review as I was shocked to see the website does not provide photos of models wearing the larger bra- making it very difficult to appreciate what it will look like for larger busted Bravissimo customers. I am very disappointed. Nevertheless - it did feel comfortable and supportive (larger straps tend to hurt my shoulders though)

Weird fit

I almost feel bad writing a poor review for this one but I tried this in my usual 32JJ and could barely get the hooks done up and there was so much gapping and extra fabric at the top of the cups. Ordered in a 34H after consulting with the ladies and it’s still not a good fit. So much extra material in the cups. Freya has always been so reliable for me. It’s sad that this just doesn’t work for me.

Never tried anything like it

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

Disclaimer: I didn't buy this bra at Bravissimo, they don't have stores in my country, but it's this exact model and I needed to put a review somewhere because it's amazing and I really love Bravissimo, so I thought you girls would appreciate it! I've never tried anything like this. It fits me perfectly, I feel like I'm not even wearing a bra and everything is supported and I can't feel the wires. I can always feel the wires at all times, but with this it is different, it's like it's made for my body. When I first saw it, I was skeptical because the closing only had one hook. It just makes the back very open and cute, but I don't feel it lacks support at all. Perhaps if you're bigger than me it might, but the little criss-cross detail definitely adds support. It also just feels kind of like a bralette, because it's not padded, which I personally love, but I know some people aren't as into. I would size down a cup in this if you're between sizes; my size is generally 30F, I tried on other 30Fs the same day that fit, but with this I had to size down in the cup (30E purchased). The band is perfect though. This is my dream bra. I'm so happy I found my perfect match, and I'll most likely order some more from Bravissimo in the other colours when I can afford it!

Not just any Plunge bra

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

Freya has always been my brand. This is the perfect cross between a full cup and plunge bra. No spillage and no displacement. Tried it on in the shop and loved it - so much so that I wore it for the rest of the day! I had to go a back size down and a cup size up but that's how to get the best fit, right? I got this in Khaki and White, both colours and designs are beautiful especially with matching briefs. Highly recommended to those losing faith in plunge bras.
