Just received this coat. I live in Canada and this is perfect for spring/fall and even winter on the west mild coast. It is soft, comfortable and fits where it needs to fit.
A little tight in the back near the arm holes when I stretch foward. There is no stretch in this, so if you are between sizes in back, waist, hips, or bust, go up a size. I'm 5'2" 135-140lbs, (38" bust, 29-30"waist, 38"hips. I wear 30G, and US size 4, UK sz8. In this jacket the 4/8SC fits me perfectly. But in many Bravissimo tops I wear the RC now instead of the SC (even non stretchy ones). Very warm and cute.
The fabric is light and silky and feels so comfortable to wear. Despite not being heavy it is plenty warm enough except on sub zero days. The cut is amazing, most quilted coats are shapeless but this nips in at the waist and I can still fasten up over the bust. The arm length is great, I have short arms and usually have to turn them up. I would like it if there was some detachable fur around the hood to make it feel a bit cosier and more special as it is a bit utilitarian. I do wear it most days as it is convenient for most places and the length is good over jeans or skirts. Very flattering. Some of the lining is poking through which is a bit annoying but despite that this is my most worn coat this year. It is great having a hood but it does blow down sometimes but good for drizzle and keeping hair dry.
I wasn't too sure when I first received this coat, but it really is lovely. The shape from the hips downwards flares out and I wasn't sure if this was making my hips look bigger - but I don't think it does. The coat is really too lovely to send back so I'm going to embrace this style and keep it.
