Why did you want to work for Bravissimo when you first applied?
I shopped at Bravissimo and loved how great I felt when I found beautiful things in my size, and I wanted to help other women feel the same way. Being a big-boobed girl myself, I know that having a properly fitted bra and clothes that fit really boosts self-confidence, so it’s been my mission to help others in the same boat!
Tell us about a typical day at work for you…
A typical day involves replying to lots of phone calls and emails, a session on our online Live Chat service, responding to customers on social media, as well as checking daily tasks on specific orders to make sure everything goes smoothly.
I help with queries of all complexities, from fitting advice to finding packages that are delayed, and as an experienced member of the team I support new team members with training and advice while they settle in.
Going the extra mile is normal for us, and knowing that I’ve been able to help resolve something or take some worry or pressure out of a stressful situation is an amazing feeling. Our customers are so lovely and great at letting us know when they are happy – it’s the icing on the cake when someone takes time to say thank you for helping.
What makes your role unique?
Fitting by phone and email – I still remember being astonished when shown how to fit someone without a tape measure! To be able to do that without even seeing someone is still our signature “thing”, and it works!
Bravissimo online Live Chat with a video link is a fantastic way of helping women all over the world, and we love it as much as they do!
Working here for 10 years, I often get to speak to the same women as they go through major events in their lives- such as first fittings, weddings, babies, new jobs and special holidays! I also get to talk with women from all over the world; I can be chatting with someone in Scunthorpe one minute and South Africa the next! Getting big-boobed women feeling comfortable and well fitted is a truly global issue.
How would you describe the team you work with?
Awesome! I have made lifelong friends at Bravissimo and work with some truly wonderful, funny and generous-hearted women of all ages. We are a sisterhood, and there is always a friendly ear if you need help. Plus, CAKE - there is always cake!
