Tell us about a typical day at work for you…
There’s isn’t a typical day as every day is different but it usually starts with a caramel latte! It can then be a variety of different things from picking images after the team has been on photoshoot, designing magazine spreads, emails, the website or looking into more creative ways to communicate our brand values to our customers. My role is not just designing something to sell a product or make something look stylish – it’s about understanding our customers and connecting with them via our visual communications.
What gives you most satisfaction in your role at Bravissimo?
I feel most satisfied when I see my designs out and about, on our website, magazine or stores, and get feedback from people who love it – it’s a lovely feeling.
How does your role affect Bravissimo’s customers?
We want our customers to interact with us and really connect with us so as a designer we always have our customers at the forefront of our mind - if they don’t feel connected to the brand then the whole message is lost.
What do you most enjoy most about working at Bravissimo?
I love how everything we do is customer focussed, and I just love that I have freedom to be creative. From the excitement of initial ideas, to the final polished creative, I love to watch my designs evolve through their various stages.
What makes working at Bravissimo unique?
We can talk quite openly about bras and boobs like it’s a natural and normal thing which is very refreshing, but sometimes you have to remember if you’re talking in public! It’s also really rare for a retailer to truly put customers first - Bravissimo is really true to its roots in that sense.
