This generated the most awful monoboob so it is being sent straight back.

Pretty but uncomfortable1 out of 5 stars

As other people have said (really should have read the reviews first) the pretty lacey shoulder straps roll up together and create a really painful digging in on the shoulders. For me, it also smashes my breasts together which is a bit sweaty and the bottom fabric rolls up too. Its really annoying as it's not cheap and you don't realise all these things until you wear it. I really wouldn't buy it!

Not as comfortable as I’d hope2 out of 5 stars

I would have thought a non wired bra would be the more comfortable option but this is not. I bought this when I was pregnant as my bras were starting to become uncomfortable but I could barely wear this long enough to see if it fitted! I went straight back to my original bras that were still more comfortable than this! The straps are very uncomfortable, they twist and dig into your shoulders no matter how tight you have the back band for support. The pictures show the bra sitting perfectly but for anyone with a little bit of a tummy like me or pregnant the bottom band rolls up and disappears under the boobs giving no support, I’d get the same small amount of support from a stretchy sports bra! Although the design is pretty the white is pretty see through so I’d be worried about wearing it with anything even slightly shear as you may be able to see through!

The painful straps ruin this bra2 out of 5 stars

Like other reviewers, I find the straps roll up into a painful, shoulder-cutting slither. The photos make them look wide and comfy, but they certainly don’t stay that way for long. I also agree about the chest flattening effect and I find the bottom rolls up, as well. I’ve tried two sizes — one in my normal size and one a size down in the band, to try to get more support and alleviate the shoulder-cutting business, but with no luck.

I would highly recommend. Ordered the black but have now also ordered the white. Please bring out a nude or pink shade.

So uncomfortable2 out of 5 stars

This bra looks nice, and gives enough support, although you don’t get a great shape - squashed is the way I would describe it. But, sadly, it’s so so very uncomfortable. It’s actually painful on the shoulders, cutting into my skin and flesh with great red welts. I’m 5’9” and there’s no adjustment on the shoulder straps, so maybe if you’re shorter than me it’s worth trying.

Super pretty and supportive enough but not perfect4 out of 5 stars

First time trying Bravissimo and I'm both happy and disappointed! This bra is perfect for those days where I don't want a sports bra and want a "pretty bra". I'd rate it light/medium support (i.e probably fine for yoga but not ok for aerobics). My main complaint is this bra would be perfect with a "mesh sling" construction (not sure how to put it) with a floating lace overlay- they are far more supportive than traditional way of sewing the inner mesh onto the top lace. Definitely feels like a missed opportunity here by sticking to a tried and tested template.

... far from perfect for me. The plus side is how it looks (I really like the style, lacy but edgy, and it is fairly sexy for a bralette) and the fact that the non-adjustable straps are ok for me lengthwise (doesn't happen often if you're short-waisted!). Cons: while I didn't have any probs with the straps, the longline band rides up/folds over on itself all the time, and at the end of the day it becomes really uncomfortable (and it hasn't got better with use). Also, the sizing is off - I was advised on the live chat to take a 28FF-G for my standard 30E-F and it fits boobwise, if even a bit small in that area (!), but I find the band quite loose and that creates a problem with the 4 hook band: ideally I'd need the bottom two hooks tighter than the top two. I tried doing it up that way, but it's not quite comfortable in the long run. Finally, it gives my chest a kind of flattened plain effect, especially from the side - not the most important if you're just at home, but also not exactly self-esteem boosting. The quest continues.
