Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

I was very excited to find a gorgeous bralette however I find it bunches on the tops of my shoulders and digs in. So I don’t wear it as much as I thought I would.
No support and horrible straps seams1 out of 5 stars

I really liked the view and - initially - the fit of the bra. However after roughly an hour of wearing I got painful red marks on my shoulder. Bra designed the way most of the weight goes to the shoulder, the band just doesn't work. And shoulder straps have very bold seam, facing the skin at the top, exactly where the pressure is very strong - horrible design!
Not for me1 out of 5 stars

I bought this and due to the Corona Virus situation, I washed it straight away. I can't return it now. It does feel a fairly comfortable fit but leaves me looking a little flat-chested. My main problems are: The straps aren't adjustable which would have been good, (I did know that when I ordered) but because I'm quite 'low slung' they really cut into my shoulders. They also have a tendency to bunch up. The 'lace' is so irritating and feels quite scratchy all over.
This is not a bra for relaxing in which is what I wanted it for. In truth after 30 minutes, I can't wait to take it off... It's going to the back of the drawer.

This is the first bralette I’ve worn as I’ve never found a decent one in my size. I find it gives good support and looks nice on. My one complaint is that the band rides up so I do end up fiddling with it. I don’t think I’d wear it all day at work but it’s great for when you want to be more relaxed. I’m a 32f and got the 32e/f so it is true to size.

The straps do not have any adjustment, I am quite short so have droopy boobs as a result! Will probably return.

I loved the idea of during the lockdown being able to wear a bra without wires.
When I first out it on I found it difficult to un-twist the straps. Once my husband did that for me I felt happy. However after only a little time I found the straps were digging into my shoulders. And after a little more time it became painful. The bottom would also roll up but that was less annoying. As a J cup I was so excited to own and wear a bralette. Sadly I'm left only lukewarm.

I found four hooks and eyes a bit pointless, as the band at the front just rolled up.
Surprisingly supportive, but please move the seam!4 out of 5 stars

Despite not having adjustable straps, this bralette offers quite a lot of support and seems to put them almost where they ought to be, which is quite a feat for a wireless bra in a larger size. I've bought a few of these, and it has become my go-to quarantine bra because its much more comfortable than a wired bra, and has the added bonus that I can still answer the door for the delivery man. I find the cup sizing slightly on the small size, so if in between cups, I would choose the larger one. My only gripe, as has been mentioned here many times, is that the seam at the top of the strap digs in and leaves itchy red marks, and means I'm always moving the straps side to side to make it irritate my skin less. Please consider moving the seam an inch or two further forward to avoid this issue.
