I was fitted in store for the second time after loosing a lot of weight so I could get the correct size which they did great.The fit was good and comfortable but again this particular bra has the big downfall of the wires ripping through the cup and sticking into my chest why have they not fixed this problem yet as all the reviews state this problem. I will ring them before ordering and see if there is another bra that does not suffer from this problem if not I will have to have this again because of my cup size

I have been buying the Alana bra for years as I find it one of the most comfortable. Recently though you have stopped putting the plastic tips on the underwires so they pop through the material much quicker than in the past and also do not stay in place when stitched back in place. Also much more painful when they do pop through. Really disappointed as it is my favourite style and am unsure what to try now instead, un willing to keep going with this style due to the design fault but also not sure what other style to go for as when try on in shop others feel OK but when worn for a day seem not to be as comfy.

I like this bra. It seems a good fit - almost one of the best out there. The negative reviews are what is putting me off. I ordered the bra - it came by post VERY QUICKLY. which is great. However after trying it on and wearing it not even half an hour one of the small decorative bows at the side fell off! without me tugging it or anything. I think this is the main problem here, shoddy stitching. I see the bras are made in China which is fine but Bravissimo HAS to sort out the stitching. I only hope the underwires don't come out.

This bra is perfect in every way except that they only last between 5-9 months before one of the wires escapes & like has been reviewed before even if you sew it up it's only a few weeks before it comes back out. It's such a shame & it only seems to happen with this style. Having said that I do love the style and have had quite a few of them in many of the colours over the past few years and I do always end up replacing them with another Alana bra because the style suits me. Please though Bravissimo fix this problem as it is costing a fortune in replacing the bras when they still have lots of life in them yet - I know it's good business for you as people keep replacing them but it's stopping people like me buying more pretty ones as treats for themselves as they are having to keep replacing their everyday ones so often!!!!!!

I bought 6 of this bra in 2 back and 3 cup sizes. The 34GG was a dream fit so I took the tags off and wore it. 5 hours later the wires have made sore patches under my arms. The wire are 20mm too short of the pocket in which they are stitched the should run from one end to the other and sit in the re-enforced band under the arms but instead they poke though the comfort band. This bra won't even make it as far as the wash basket I may as well have flushed my money down the loo it would have been less painful. Come on Bravissimo you of all people should know better!

This is by far the most comfortable and shaped bra I've had. I find bras very uncomfortable around the chest and often end up with an itchy red mark around my chest. This is hardly noticeable with this bra however and was great support for 2 months of trekking around the amazon in very hot, sticky weather a year ago. And that original bra, despite crude washing methods and discoloration from the sun was still going strong until last week when it developed a little tear in the netting on the back of the band. Still perfectly wearable however. I now alternate between three of them.

I followed the reviews and went up a cup size, but they feel a little big. I definitely think that had I gone down to my regular size, I would have gotten double boob because of the way the cups cover. However, the underwires and band dig into my armpits constantly. It's the only bra I own that I feel forced to take off at the end of the day.

Loved the fit and comfort of this bra, but after a couple of months my underwire popped out which was very painful. Replaced it, sewed up the hole, then the other side did the same. Real shame as this is an affordable and comfy bra with good choices of colours, I was going to get another, but reading the reviews and seeing it's happened to other people too has put me off.
