I've been wearing Alana bras for years, they're the best shape and support for me, but they always had one major issue: the little lacy loops decorating the underbust band. They're so stiff and dig painfully into the body for weeks whenever I got a brand new bra. The breaking in period was awful and always made me hesitate to replace my bras when I needed new ones. Finally, the new design that came in recently has gotten rid of the damn loops!! I got an Alana in every colour introduced since, it's SO COMFORTABLE without the darn loops. I know folks have had issues with the straps but honeslty, I haven't noticed a difference at all. Bravissimo, by all means fix the straps but please don't bring the loops back!! And please let me buy the all black/all white/all cream versions in the new design with no loops!!!

Bought this bra as it is one of the few that goes up to my size, I've worn Alana before and it's had good support unfortunately with this one the stretch in the fabric makes it slack and very lose on the shoulder straps even when tightened, the cup wouldn't be too bad if not for the shoulder straps not staying tight.

My mum bought me this bra as she saw they do it in my size. The bra looks amazing- such pretty colours but it is sadly such a very poor fit! The centre wires don’t sit against my breast bone and poke out visibly through my top, the wires poke me under my arm and the stretch in the material means it was riding up my back within an hour of putting it on. Please Bravissimo sort out your larger bras. The Erin was amazing but you have discontinued it and not replaced it with anything decent in a dark colour- I’m truly worried about when my trusty Erin bras need replacing!

I am so disappointed. I have been wearing Alana bras for many years, they have always suited my shape even when my size has changed. But in the past year or so there has been a significant change in the way they are made. They are smaller than they used to be. The fabric on the sides and at the back is wider and because the fabric is rougher, it can really chafe and leave the skin sore around the side. The new straps are dreadful, uncomfortable and unsupportive. I can no longer work out what size to buy as the sizes have changed so significantly. Why Bravissimo would change what was once an excellent bra is impossible to understand. Very sad to have lost a staple that I've worn for well over a decade. Shame :(

I loved this bra when it came. The colour is fabulous, the shape it gives me is lovely, I was thrilled. That was into my first full day wearing it. There is excess fabric where the underwire finishes up the outside of my boob. This fabric folds down causing discomfort. It’s as though the underwire has moved round, but it hasn’t, it’s the same on both sides. Disappointing.

Good fit, well supporting. I liked the straps - a bit of glitz on a otherwise plain bra! However, I did find the lower band a bit scratchy by the end of the day, so not the most comfy to wear all day, so knocked a star off for that. I've washed it with some fabric conditioner since then and its still rough.

I have this bra in multiple colours and it is just the best. Comfy, supportive and washes well. Not too much decoration so doesn't show through white tops. I don't know what I'll do if they ever discontinue this bra! As it suggests I go up a cup size and it fits well.

This bra fit really well but gave me a Madonna-cone-bra-esque shape. I have most of my breast tissue below my nipple so I think that's the problem–the bra has thinner mesh on the top 1/3 making it more flat there compared to the rest of the bra/shape. It fit very well although I'm not sure how much I would've loved the lace on the underwire after a couple hours. I will sadly be returning this one as much as I would love to live my Blonde Ambition fantasy.
