Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Straps are not nearly cushioned enough for big breasts. Fabric has degraded on the sides, but aside from that is a nice bra. Please make bras with lots of cushioning on the straps, they need to be thick and wider or it is painful.

Very disappointed! I've been buying this bra for years and have always found it very hard wearing. However, the last one I bought only lasted a couple of months. The underwiring came through the material at the cleavage and the bra was unwearable. I see several other reviewers have had the same problem!! What's gone wrong?

After many trips to Bravissimo for fittings over the years I keep returning to the Panache Tango as my go-to everyday bra as the fit is the best for my uncommonly large cup size! I have been a fan of the Tango for years. Eventually the wire would pop out and I'd accept that as wear and tear. However, the last 4 bras I have bought the wire pops in the cleavage after a few months of wear. Each one failing at about the same point. Digs in the side sometimes and underboob strap is uncomfortable. Clearly disappointing. Also lately the shoulder straps slip and refuse to remain tightened. The Tango bra is still my bra of choice by default as options of good fit so limited but would like the quality to improve/ return to what it used to be..

Loved this bra for ten years. Don't know anything else that fits properly. Last batch of three I bought strap on right shoulder falls down constantly. Never had this problem before. Also wire on one sticks in under arm, all are same size so why this problem with one? Giving up on them.

I bought 4 of these bras about a month ago and have worn them only a few times. I am a GG cup so struggle to find a good bra that looks nice and supports me well. At first I was so happy with them, however after only wearing it a few times the underwire has broken through on 2 of them and I am now unable to wear them anymore. As you can imagine, I am not amused by this after spending £116 on these bras.

I’ve been wearing this bra for years, the past 3 bras I’ve had have not fitted the same. Bones poking into me under my arm plus 2 have had the bones pop out. Not the same quality as it once was

I felt I had to write in defence of my favourite bra which I have worn over many years. I bought seven (5 white, a black and a nude) in June last year. I have had no problems and will even admit to machine washing them, albeit in a net laundry bag. I did try on a coloured one in the store but this was not the same fit. Maybe the problems are with the coloured versions?

I have been wearing this bra for a few years as it’s one of the only one that fits well initially. I always have issues with it and thought it was down to how I hand washed it, but even before they are washed the problems start. After finally reading the reviews I am glad to see I am not alone having problems with the quality. Yes, when you first wear it, the fit is perfect and firm. After only a couple of wears the wire starts to dig in on the sides and after a few more wears it pops out. The straps are constantly falling down, I feel a few years ago it wasn’t the case but the comfort and quality has definitely changed. It is a real shame as it isn’t cheap.
