I got this dress quite discounted, so I'll be keeping it. However, I would have had a hard time justifying it to myself at full price, simply because I'm not quite sure when I'll wear it. I can't really wear it to work (too much cleavage) but it's plainer than I like for formal occasions. From the pictures and price, I was sure it was going to be a casual knit fabric, but this dress is actually fairly structured and the fabric is woven. It would be top-notch as a bridesmaid dress, but that's not really a thing I do much; it could maybe work for a conference reception with some jewellery to draw the eye upward. Perhaps a picnic? Bravissimos' fabric/construction quality can be hit-or-miss, but this one is a hit; the lining is good quality and there are no puckered seams. I think the the fit is correct for my usual size, but I only ordered one and it's possible I could have sized down for a better fit because the back was a tiny bit "pouchy". Oddly, it flares out a bit *below* my hips, but it's not necessarily unflattering; sort of a "tulip" profile. While some folks may dislike the wrinkle-prone rayon, I think it's lovely. I find that wrinkles in rayon tend to fall out in a half hour or so anyway and it's buttery soft. The dress is very cozy, especially as semi-formal dresses go. Yeah, it's probably for a picnic.
