It has been a few years since I have bought a sports bra but this one is absolutely perfect. I bought my normal bra size and it holds me in fantastically. I did a HIT workout in it this morning and didn't feel conscious that I was even wearing it at all!

Made such a difference!5 out of 5 stars

This is a great sports bra. I made sure I went up a back size and solved the difficulty of getting it on by clipping up at the front. It's extremely comfortable, if a little tight at the back, and I would definitely recommend this.

This is my running bra. Now I don't run very fast nor very far (yet). I'll do about 7 miles a week and this bra is so comfy and supportive. Sometimes I need to run after my dog on a walk in my normal bra and then the hands have to come up to clamp the girls down... This bra allows me to just run and enjoy without worries. And it's pretty enough to run only in it (when the weather allows). It's a little bit tricky to put on with the back closure but it's worth it for the support. I've never left a review for a bra, but this one is worth the effort.

I love Bravissimo bras and bikinis so was surprised by this item. I ordered my normal size and it just didn't give the support needed. I would not be comfortable running in this one! I really would love Bravisomo to do a brooks style sports bra with adjustable straps so you can choose the support level, it would be amazing! But, never the less, ended up sending this one back as it was not the product for me.

A good sports bra for horse riding4 out of 5 stars

This is comfortable, and once you know where to put your hands the upper clasp, I found the upper clasp easy to do up. It is comfortable and supportive, but not attractive. I went up a back size and kept cups size as usual and it fits well. Beware, though, it definitely gives the uniboob look. However, for horse riding in winter, where you will probably have a jacket on, no-one can see it. I often wear a 'boobband' with other bras but didn't need it with this one. Bravissimo, you should stock boobbands - fantastic bits of kit for the well endowed. Great therefore for winter pursuits, when you can hide the uniboob but need the support without an underwire.

I’ve had these for years and recently bought the Bravissimo own brand because they only sold the plain black Shock Absorbers in the shop - comparing these two bras: the Shock Absorber is far superior with reliable support throughout your whole workout.

Went into the shop to ensure I got the right size. Followed written advice and tried next size up (usually a 32F, but tried a 34F). Bra felt snug and comfortable but there was still jiggling. Told her that I needed more support for high intensity workouts and under the assistant’s advice, we decided to give my right size (32F) a go. It was predictably tighter and cup size was perfect. No jiggling and waited till my workout session was over before I wrote this review. I thought the heavy underarm material may cause a bit of chaffing during the workout, but it didn’t trouble me. Jogging wasn’t a problem and my chest was firmly supported. I am more than pleased with this bra. Ordered 2 more. Arriving today. Can’t wait.

Hard to do up...but worth the effort4 out of 5 stars

One has to have quite flexible arms to reach behind to do up the second tier on the back-strap of this bra - but if you can, the result for me was a comfortable fit with plenty of support. It took 2 attempts to find the right size of Shock Absorber and I settled on the 36HH. Following surgery I now have one smaller (pert) boob and one that's all original and I dreaded finding a bra to run in due to the asymmetry and of course I needed to support both girls equally! I think the compression approach of wire-free sports bras has been excellent in finding a good compromise for mis-matched sized boobs. At the same time I have also purchased a Royce Impact-Free sports bra - going smaller in the cup each time I sent for one - third attempt and I found the level of compression needed to give a reasonable level of support (36GG). Overall I'd say the Royce allows more bounce than this bra, and has a more comfortable wide cottony under-band and higher neck-line which adds security and is also easier to put on. They are both good for different reasons... It's going to be the Shock Absorber for higher impact/running and the Royce for gardening and yoga/pilates. Thanks to Bravissimo for all their help both on the telephone and via the web-chat on this sports bra journey :-)
