This was my go-to bra as I knew what I was getting. Fits well. Support is great. I ordered another recently as the one I had was damaged on one of the hook fastenings. I'd had it for a little while so put it down to wear and tear. Had my new one for only one wear and the hook fastening is already damaged and coming away. I don't understand when this was always a reliable, well made bra. I won't be ordering another.
Under T-shirts this bra gives a smooth shape, initially it felt comfortable. However, after a few hours the underwires seem to dig into my ribs, the bra starts to feel as if it’s slipping down me as the bottom of the bra seems very heavy. The material also seems to stretch out very quickly. Good shape but so uncomfortable, really disappointed considering the price.
Tried this bra in the search for a t-shirt bra but like most styles it was too shallow. I generally don't find Freya a good match for my shape though sadly. I always need a 28 band in their brand. Would advise going down a band size and also a cup size (runs big) in this bra.
This bra made me realise how bad my other boutique (not Bravissimo) bras are. The bra gives me a nice shape, disappears under my clothes and is sturdy. I only have 2 complaints about this bra: I do have a little gaping at the top of the cup when I move in certain ways, so I think it may run a little larger. Another cause could be that after childbearing and nursing, my ladies are shallower and less firm than they used to be. My second complaint is that the fabric on the seam where the strap meets the band in back is itchy. The rest is perfectly comfortable.
I quite liked this bra but the cut simply didn't seem ideal for me. I could have done with fitting in a shop (please open in Exeter or Plymouth), but in the end returned both the 32H and 32GG I tried. The cups on one were too small and the other about right (maybe a little big) but on both of them the binding across the top/front seemed to push in so I couldn't achieve a smooth line. I change weight/size occasionally so I may try again in the future.
I use to love this bra, but in the past year I have gone through three of them. All with wire issues, I wash them correctly. I believe it’s due to the making of them more so than anything as all three have gone in the same spot and I’ve been fitted correctly so it shouldn’t be a issue
I purchased this bra in my size, 34G, and have been quite happy with it. It has good lift and is comfy under any top, completely hidden. Recently the one cup had the underwire poke through on the inside, so Im disappointed as I only handwash and hang to dry. After only 1 year, I wouldn't expect this problem. Freya please address!
It's certainly the best t-shirt bra I've ever bought because it gives a smooth shape, even under silk tops. However, I only wear it on occassions when I need something under thin tops or t-shirts, but certainly not for every day, as it is too uncomfortable. The bottom of the bra is very heavy. Hard, inflexible wires press into my ribs when I'm sitting down. It also has scratchy stitching under the arms. I judge bras on how relieved I am to take them off, and when I take this one off, it's utter bliss. Not a great sign, but I put up with the discomfort for the few hours I need really smooth coverage, as there is nothing better out there.
