Great fit, good support, thank you!
I have seen a few reviewers who seemed confused by the term 'impact free' - it does not mean you will be so well supported that it feels like there is no impact, it means that the bra is not designed for high impact activities. And for this purpose, it is amazing! I needed something for work with high coverage, supportive, comfortable, but not 'smushing' in the same way as a regular sports bra. This bra fits the bill exactly. Just jogging on the spot causing a LOT of uncomfortable bounce, so anything more active than walking or cleaning would, I imagine, not be the easiest in this bra. I definitely agree with other reviewers that the band size comes up small. I am usually a 30 band but ordered a 32 - this fits me well, but if you don't want a tight band in any way, I would consider going two band sizes bigger. I do really love where the neckline is on this bra - I have absolutely no cleavage with it, which means that while working outdoors in summer, or for activities like yoga, I won't be spilling out the top in any way.
I agree with many of the reviewers here. The back size is too small - I’m currently a 34J/ 34JJ and had to get the 38 back, so go up 2 band sizes. In no way is this a high impact sports bra as it doesn’t offer enough support. For support I buy the fabulous Panache underwired sports bra. What this is really good for is just lounging and wearing around the house, and is the first soft cup bra I have found that gives decent lift and separation. Apart from the strange band sizing, my only other gripe is that the straps are so far apart at the back! This is very odd and puts a lot of tension on your shoulders - so please sort out this design flaw, Royce.
This is my new favorite bra! It is very soft and fits really well (I sized up in the back as recommended). It is so comfortable I will be wearing it outside of exercise as well! I love that it is made out of cotton and therefore feels really breathable and doesn't rub the skin as primarily synthetic bras can sometimes. It offers enough support for activities like yoga and pilates, however, I don't think it is suitable for high impact sports like running. But since that isn't my jam anyway, I don't mind at all. Highly recommend.
Let me start off by saying that NOT EVERY ONE IS THE SAME!! I've read a review from someone who is the same size as me and their experience is different to mine, so take that as you will... 9/10! Amazing Non-Wired Sports Bra! DISCLAIMER I have been fitted by Bravissimo in store and they did tell me that I am a 34K which felt way to small for me at the time (I could barely get bras on) so I bought everything in a 36K. Now I've lost a lil weight, my bras aren't fitting me as well now, so I've taken their advice and actually ordered my correct size. Fit/Support - Personally I prefer my sports bras to be a lil tight - I need to feel extra supported because the boys like to try and get away from me every time I run or jump. In terms of the band around my waist, it's perfect, I can still get it on/off, and that's all I need. I do get a tiny bit of spillage from the outer sides of the bra, but I wear loose fitting t-shirts for exercise, so it doesn't bother me... The straps are giving me a little discomfort however when my boobs do move, like a tugging sensation on the shoulders. I can just loosen the straps if I wanted, but again, it feels like they're more supported if the straps are tight... This bra would be perfect for low-impact sports if you want 0 movement. But you have to remember the fact that gravity exists, and if you have bigger boobs, they are gonna move regardless of how 'well' fitting your sports bra is. So I will be using this bra for high-impacts sports too :) The movement isn't huge, my boobs don't bounce off of my chin like they usually do, so I'm happy! Style - Looks wise I really love how plain this is! I'm the type of person that LOVES to wear black but I don't mind the pink trim design, I think it's really cute. I do think that there should be more design options for those that like patterns and colours though. If you're looking for a sports bra that gives curvature and definition to your boobs then this isn't the bra for you as it's non-wired.
Surprised by some of the reviews saying this has no support for sports, considering that Impact Free are for lighter stuff anyway. I wear this alot at the moment, even for going out for walks as it is comfortable. Great for yoga and stretching and light workouts but for my trampoline, have to wear an old wired bra underneath to stop the chance of getting black eyes as it is not supportive enough! The style has changed. The old one that I had for ten years had the wider straps and back with the velco tab covering the hooks so would have actually preferred that. I normally take a back size 32 but as sports bras are stated as having tighter backs, I opted for the 34, still quite tight but has started to give a little. I also went two cups down from my usual HH to a G. Firstly, the HH just felt too big. I went for the G and did get a bit of boob overhang at the sides but not a problem as I like as little boob movement as possible. Need to come in white too. I have to find a different one for that!
This is an essential item for me and I hope it never stops being available. I agree, it does not provide that much support and the back does run small especially in the newer versions. How I use this: I am a very full 36K/KK cup, and have no hope of actually getting enough support from any sports bra. I have tried everything Bravissimo offers and many others. What I do to be able to exercise is that I use this, in a 38 or 40K on top of a Panache Envy bra. It does help with bounce and with keeping things together, provides some extra support, while the "real" work is still done by the wired Envy. I think that's a reasonable compromise for most past an HH cup or so.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and went for a therapeutic mammoplasty but only had one boob done (the other being done in a few weeks), so am very lopsided at the moment. My breast nurse advised get a sports bra that doesn't offer too much support and having looked online I came across this one. I was either a 32/34 HH but had to go with 36H as it was very tight around the back. Saying that, I'll be getting it again in a smaller cup size for my next surgery
