I've normally bought Panache or Fantasie bras in the past, but none was a quite perfect fit or bra for me so I tried the Alana this time. Wow. Such a good fit and shape, I really like it. I've had it for almost 3 months now and there are no wires poking through, but I did read the reviews first and I've been hand washing only. Its really not tricky, most of the time I just use shampoo or squirty hand soap (that's good enough for clothing that's only been next to the skin and isn't heavily soiled) in the sink before bed, roll in a towel and its dry next morning. The only thing I would say is, can we have a smoother lower binding to the band, as the edging does itch a little, I prefer the lower binding on the Satine bra, much softer and smoother.

Gives a lovely shape and fits well. Very comfortable. Would definitely buy some of the other colours.

At last I have found a supportive Bra that after a day isn't digging in somewhere!! Im going have to buy all colours!!!! Thank you Bravissimo!

This is a really nice pale nude and it's a great fit on me but, those wires! There is almost 3/4" more fabric than wire at the sides of the bra. The casing of the wires is so thin that after only one wearing, the wires are almost through and I've been left with red marks on my skin! It's a shame because it's a nice bra and I would have bought more in different colours but as it is, I'm not impressed with the quality of this bra and will think twice about buying Bravissimo own brand again.

Due to my small back size I have been trying on a number of Bravissimo bras this spring (thank you Bravissimo for your great customer service – both on email and for shipping exchange orders!) and I am a bit puzzled as the wires are a bit of a problem to me. I have tried on 28GG - 28H – 28HH and 28J and no matter the size, the wires just won’t sit flat against my chest, even when the bra is otherwise obviously too big. Maybe the shape of the bras is just a bit off to me or the distance between the wires is too big compared to the distance between my breasts? Otherwise it seems like a great bra and I made a compromise with the wire problem and chose the 28H. The cups are less ‘pointy’ than other Bravissimo bras and the band is so nice and firm and really supportive. Bravissimo bras are really great if you are a small 28 back. I chose the nude color and the nuance is perfect for my skin tone, not too pink or white.

Best fitting bra I've had from bravissimo. I bought a black and nude version in 36hh, I'm usually 36h but had to get a slightly bigger bra to fit better. Big negative is the wires poked out really quickly after purchasing. After just one month the wire on the black one came out, I took it back to the shop and they replaced it. 4 months on the wires came out of both bras and really had to argue to get them replaced, which was done on "goodwill" - the manager said I had put it in the washing machine too many times (I had only done this once by accident) that does not ruin a bra. If i had known so many people had the same issue i would have informed the shop manager - she said she has basically blacklisted me from returning faulty bras again!!! As much as I like the fit of this bra I won't be buying it again and may be looking to shop elsewhere.
