I love the fit of this bra and it really is the best fitting/supporting bra I've found, and have bought many over the years. However I have had some problems with them that I though was unique to me, but reading these reviews I realise they aren't. As other reviewers have said the wire pokes into my underarm (only on the right side for some strange reason), and the wire comes out after only a few wears. I have had my most recent bra for just over a month and the wire has come out already. Fort the price I would expect the bra to last more than a few wears. Looking in my drawer today I realised that 4 of these bras have the wire coming through (admittedly some are over 6 months old, but I still don't think that's that old for them to be breaking). I hand wash my bras and dray them on the line. As this happens to quite a few others I suggest it's a serious design flaw in the bra. Shame, because if it lasted it really would be the perfect bra!

Love the style and fit. Don't like the front wire poking through after a couple of weeks wear and careful washing!

These bras give a great shape and uplift and I have several of them in two sizes, due to weight gain/loss, but I also suffer from two of the problems mentioned by other people. I have not had wires come right through the fabric (a friend has) but I have to fold tissues and push them behind the top point of the wire at the sides to stop it taking my skin off. It’s as if the top of the wire curves in towards the body too much. I also find the fabric hard and scratchy, especially at the back.

i found this bra a few years ago ..and nothing even comes close to this fit and comfort . All my life i have been waiting for a comftable bra .. i confess i hate wearing them but this one i can wear from morning to night ..so please never stop selling this bra . I have big boobs but very little back ...its only taken me 37 years to find a bra that really fits me .

I have several of these bras and wear them every day. I throw them in the washing machine (I know, I know!) and have never had any issues with the wires. I'm off to buy a white one for my hols today.

I have been wearing Alana bras since 2011 and they look even better in my new size! more up front which is where I like them(I marked down for size purely as it runs small compared to other brands). Thankfully I have never had a wire problem (unless you consider wearing the wire casing away through use) and I rely on these bras to be comfortable and supportive on my busiest days. I have both nude and blue Alanas but would love a strawberry shade like the current tango colour. A big thank you to Bravissimo as this was my free bra!

Style, fit, colour all fine. In the absence of a solution to the problem with the wire I'll try and source an alternative style. Don't understand why it is taking so long to solve this longstanding and oft reported problem.

Bought a couple of these about 2 years ago but got put off by the underwire popping out from the top. However I have tried other bras since that have been less suitable for me so am reverting back. I have just ordered 3 of these in different colours so am keeping my fingers crossed that the popping out of the underwire problem has been resolved 2 years on. I also found that the size I had was slightly small in the cup but manageable however that was more error on my part so have ordered the next cup size up this time.
