I bought two Alana bra's about seven weeks ago after saying I wouldn't buy them again due to the problem with the wires poking out (despite ALWAYS washing them by hand). I thought I'd give it another try because they are a really nice fit and shape. However, I am so sorry that I did buy them again as the edges near to the fastening at the back are so sharp that they are cutting into my back still. This was an issue when I bought them previously but they used to soften after being washed. I will not be buying them again and will definitely be sticking with Panache bras in future.

When i tried and bought this bra I was very happy as the support and style were close to perfect. However, even though i had been extreemly carefull when hand washing it the bra didn't even last three months before I had the wires popping out... when I was at work of course to make it worse. And it is not the first time it happened with this bra as the previous one i had had the wires popping out not even six months after I bought it. Also, even though the color is beautiful it stains very easily if you wear it with like, dark clothes and the stains can't be removed. Anyway. I think this bra would have been perfect without those popping out wires making it a waste of money.

I've been buying this bra for many years now as it gives me the best support, but like many others I am really fed up with the wires poking through, sewing them up again after again. Several times I have red marks on my skin, thankfully not punctured. Why is this still a problem Bravissimo? I follow the handwash instructions, am aware that I can swap the bra within 6m of purchase if wires poke through, but why should I have to keep doing this, why has the problem not been sorted out after all these years? £28 is a lot of money for a bra that doesn't last. I really want to buy the red bra but am not reassured that it will last.

I have worn these bras virtually every day for the past few years.They are very comfortable,have a great shape and good supportive wide straps for my extremely heavy boobs.However,whenever I buy a new one they always irritate my skin at the back underneath the clasp.I find my skin itches in this particular spot and is very uncomfortable.Once the bras have been washed a few times the scratchy area seems to soften.I always put a large plaster over the offending area until I've washed the bras a few times.It would be great if Bravissimo could investigate why this happens.It must be the thread that is used during manufacture.It would be the perfect bra if it wasn't so irritating for the first few weeks!

I think you either love or hate this bra - I really want to like it but I can't. If the material was a bit softer the wires not so poky then it would be my ideal bra. Pros: Good fit / support, lovely shade of nude, huge range of colours, true to size (I didn't have to go up a cup size). Cons: Scratchy material, wires dig in under arms

This has been my staple for every day use for the last couple of years. I find it gives a great shape under all clothes, is comfortable and supportive, and the right cut for v-neck work tops too. I've not experienced any of the issues others have reported - and I machine wash on hand wash cycle (in a bag) - gasp! So excited about the scarlet - it may just be how I spend my loyalty points! I love the fit of this bra. Being a cup size larger than a K for the last few years it's the bra I have remained faithful to as the fit is amazing. I have had a few issues over the last year which I thought were unique to just me but apparently not. The wires poking through the front after a few wears and hand washing is very uncomfortable. It is really disappointing as these bras are not cheap and can be quite embarrassing if they pop out whilst at work. I have come to expect much better quality and was told it may have just been a batch issue but it keeps happening. Please sort out the problem Bravissimo; not only are loyal customers getting tired but currently this is the only bra that fits me and I need it to be reliable as well as giving good support and comfort.

I have the Alana bra in a couple of colours and have bought it on a repeat basis. Great bras with a great shape and support. Was thinking the wire issue was my fault although I handwash the bra's and dry them on the line but seeing now that it might not be unique to me. Have had the wire come through on the front quite a few times and also digging in under the arm sometimes. Apart from this it is a fab bra and love the new colours.
