How do you know if your bra fits right?

How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.

Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.

How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

Since having my son nearly a year and a half ago, I have really struggled to find a bra that fits properly, is comfortable and where my boobs don’t spill out as soon as I bend over. Seriously - I think I’ve been through every 32/34 H/HH neutral bra in bravissimo! All my usual go-to’s either don’t go up to my new size, have been discontinued, or just don’t work. So you can imagine how happy I was to finally find this perfect Freya Undetected bra. It’s comfy, gives wonderful shape and support, disappears under most darker coloured tops and, most importantly, the melons don’t fall out at any given opportunity.
Please please PLEASE Freya/Bravissimo - please do more colours, especially some neutrals so that we can wear them under light clothing!Recently viewed
