Did you know we don't use tape measures at Bravissimo? Instead we fit by eye as knowing how a bra should look and feel is the best way to find your most comfortable fit - here's how…
How do you know if your bra fits right?
1
How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.
2
Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.
3
How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

The bra I live in. I'm 36H and for heavy boobs that are no longer in their prime! Envy gives a strong side support and the lift keeps them facing forwards and at a good height. I am still searching for another bra to rival it. The only minus is the inevitable metal dig, but doubt a non-wired bra would achieve the the desired effect.

I bought this in an ivory colour that is perfect under white clothing. It gives great support and a fabulous shape. Back to get the black one today and will probably keep getting them in different colours. I was a real fan of the Jasmine bra but this just pips it in support as I have got older and needed the uplift more.

Recently purchased this bra I tried out 11 all together and this is one of the ones I kept. It’s very comfy and looks pretty. I really liked the fit and shape it gave me. The Ivory is a nice neutral colour and goes well under white T-shirt’s. Would recommend trying this for anyone looking for a comfy but still pretty bra.

I really like this bra and have bought two - even though the wiring is not a great fit and pokes me under the arms. It’s a much better fit on the sternum than many bras and gives a good shape and I like how it looks, but the underarm stabbing is really frustrating. Especially as it seems so many people have this issue! Couldn’t this be redesigned? Until then I’m going to try some other options.

28JJ
Review by Maria on
I heard this bra was due to be coming in a 28JJ and I was super excited - for years I've been wearing too small 28Js because the only bra in a 28JJ was Tango, which is... Not for me. When I finally got to try the Envy in 28JJ I was horribly disappointed. The band is far too big, even on the tightest hooks, I took the opportunity to compare it to a 28J and a 30J, the band was only a couple of mm shorter than the 30J (to the point where it almost seems like they've just relabelled some 30Js) the band on the 28J was definitely shorter and did fit me in the tightest hooks (how I wear all bras except Lola because I need a 26 band) but of course the cups were too small. This is a major design issue and I hope you feed this back to Panache. If the bra goes up a cup size the band should get shorter, not longer!
