How do you know if your bra fits right?

How should your band fit?
Most of the support comes from the underband. It should be horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in. We recommend fastening a new bra on its loosest hooks so that you can tighten it if it stretches over time.

Where should the underwire of a bra sit?
The underwires in your bra should sit flat on your ribcage (not your boob!) all the way round to your armpits. The wires between your boobs should lie flat against your chest without digging in, rubbing or poking out.

How should a bra cup fit?
Make sure your boobs are fully in the cups – a bit of a scoop, wiggle and jiggle usually does the trick! You should fill the cups without any bulging or wrinkling even in a lower-cut style and there should be a smooth line, with no ridge, where the top and the side of the fabric ends.

This bra fit lovely in the shop. I was fitted for it. It was the right size . However after a few hours of wearing the wires were digging in under my arms and in the centre and it became too painful to continue to wear the bra. I believe I had a Fantasie bra years ago which I had the same problem with. I put on my new Freya bra of the same size and the wires on that one fitted lower under the arms and in the middle and was OK. Shame I threw the tags away so couldn't return the Fantasie.Versatile Bra

I discovered Bravissimo on line many years ago and, when in London next, I went to their shop in Sloane Square. The range of underwear was excellent and the assistants very knowledgeable. Helpful too. I came out with 2 bras and vowed to always shop there.Metal Strap Holders

Well-fitting, smooth, soft fabric and great support, however the rectangle metal pieces that hold the cra cups to the straps are uncomfortable to the point of pain. The corners dig into the flesh and makes it impossible to wear the bra after a couple of hours.Recently viewed
