Fit Problem

Review published on:

Customer rating:1 out of 5 stars

I ordered this before the other reviews regarding the odd fit were posted, but wish I'd seen them. There is a big seam that runs across the top, separating the stitched cups from the "high neck" part of the bra. It caused my boobs to be pushed down and created a weird shape. Very disappointing as this is one of the cutest high support bras for big busts I've ever seen. I really wanted to like it, but the fit wasn't there. I'll be returning. Also, I have no idea how you'd get this on by yourself with the crossed straps! I hope the strange fit is fixed and bravissimo re-tries this bra because the concept was awesome!

Same fitting issue as others

Way too narrow in the middle in the front - bad then my boobs were squished and pushed down. I returned it.

Great support but gives a strange shape!

I bought this because I liked the idea of the crossover back for support as I always need to use the racer back hook on the other Panache sports bras I have. It takes a little contortioning into with the crossover straps and a little squashing the boobs into it, once on it's very comfortable and supportive giving virtually no bounce at all during high intensity workouts. My only issue with it, is the shape it gives my boobs, because it compresses them it gives a strange compressed 4 boob kind of look. I'm used to padded sports bras so not used to it but I only work out at home anyway so for me it's no issue. It could possibly be just the shape of my boobs that cause that.

Strangest fit ever

I don't understand this bra at all. It gives you the ODDEST shape I've ever had - it pushes your boobs together, but also compresses them so they naturally squash down slightly - the result is a triangular, pointy, uni-boob pointing downwards, like a cone! It's a shame because it was so comfy and felt very supportive, but it looked so strange and unflattering that I couldn't bear looking at it. Doesn't look at all like it does on the model which is suspicious. Very weird!

Awful

This has been the most expensive sports bra I have ever bought but it offers no support what so ever - would give zero stars if possible

It works!

I usually go for the Panache underwired and have to make the back into a racer back in order to have proper support. But then I find it hurts my shoulders doing core work during a cardio workout. So I was looking for an alternative that would work for both. I didn't have high hopes with no wires, but the Atlas is really good. I had to size up (G to GG) in the cup but I found the back true to size. It took a while to fit it properly, but then it was perfect. You are effectively strapped down in this bra so it limits movement significantly. My spatial awareness skills and my general cluelessness mean I still haven't fathomed the cross-straps side of things! Waiting for shops to re-open so I can take it into Bravissimo and get guidance on that!! Definitely recommend for intense cardio workouts and core.

Did nothing for me

Tried this bra looking for an alternative to the Panache underwired sports bra which I have worn for many years. This bra had the strangest fit I have ever come across - the band was way looser than the rest of the bra, even on the tightest eye, whilst I had to physically stuff the girls into the cups to get them anywhere near covered. Even when off, the bra has so much stretch around the band but virtually none in the cups that the band is the biggest part of the bra. The end result was really tight across the top but virtually baggy at the bottom, which meant a wopping great uniboob free to move up and down with a hefty wollop. I'm sticking with Panache.
