If you struggle to find bras that are small enough or big enough around the back for you, this handy accessory allows you to tighten or extend the back band. You just slide the Rixie Clip onto the back band, move it to the right place for you, and then snap it into place so it’s secure, and then you can fasten the hooks and eyes.

If you would like any help with how your bra should fit, or which bras these clips work with, our friendly fitters are only a phone call (or live chat) away and we love to help. Our contact details are further down the page.

Each pack contains one black, one white and one beige clip.

I received a 3 pack of the 3 hook extenders, hoping I could shorten the back of my bras, rather than having to order new ones, saving money. The pack shows 2 ways of fitting, and both ways dig tiny holes into the band, and slide along gradually when wearing, making them useless. One also fell apart as the little 'flanges' are so small for the holes that hold it together. Very disappointed. Have returned them.

Better on larger back sizes/smaller cup-band ratio?

I am a 32J (31 really so 30's too small and extension hooks leave straps at too wide a position, and 32's often get too big quickly). I was hoping this would be the answer! Unfortunately not - in small back sizes (I assume, certainly in my bras, which are mostly Candy Bliss/Lola/Alana/Nina) the straps widen pretty much straightaway after the hook piece so these clips gather up the fabric a bit, therefore it's hard to fit them 'straight' rather than slanted; the material of my hook pieces is too thick to poke back through the clip to secure it, therefore the clips don't hold tight enough and just slide up to the hook piece, defeating the object! Having said all that, they may work for extending straps, but if your shoulders are narrow, like mine, this will likely move the shoulder straps too far apart. And I guess they may work better on larger back sizes? Or smaller cups maybe (so the band is narrower?) I specifically tried these on my Willow bra (like a Candy Bliss) which has a very stretchy back band, so I'll resort to sewing the underarm seams in a bit, as again, because the straps widen straightaway I can't move the hook piece over)
